The NeatiEase Acoustic Panels are a beautiful and modern upgrade to the walls of my home office. I was struggling to remove 30-year old wallpaper and finally decided to cover it with the panels to create a more professional business appearance. The installation is relatively simple but, if you're covering one or more entire walls, be sure to have at least a circular saw and a grinder with a wood cutting blade available to trim the pieces to size and to make smaller cut outs for outlets and switches. The outside sound reduction is noticeable and the panels look great.

These are thicker, higher quality and cheaper than the well marketed/advertised ones, such as LuxeWall, Wood Veneer Hub etc. Unfortunately, I spent over two grand on WVH for our living room and only after that, I found this brand. I used this brand (matte black) for our movie theater room for 70% the price I spent on the other brand, on better, higher quality panels. Pull the trigger on this brand, you won't be sorry.

This was a second attempt to buy these panels. The first was with another seller and after waiting 2 weeks they didn’t arrive so we re-ordered with NeatiEase. Delivery was fast, just 3 days and we purchased 5 packs (10 panels) to cover 10 sf behind out TV. We decided to put the tv mount on top so we located the studs prior to installing the first panels and we drilled the tv bracket in to the stud through the fabric between the wood/laminate slats. We also used liquid nails on the back of the panels and needed 4 tubes for 10 panels. We then used black screws, drilled through the fabric so they didn’t show to secure them to the wall. They look great and also provide some help with the echo in our open plan kitchen/living room. There is some variation in colors so we are going to switch the outer panels (as seen in photo) each side with one another so the color matches better with the one next to it. Probably best not to line your panels up by using your base board as a guide as floors are uneven so we started our panels an inch above the baseboard and leveled them from the top to make sure that we had an even line.

I wanted to do a little accent corner in my home office and also wanted the added benefit of improved acoustics. This set of 2x acoustic panels did the trick and leaves me the option to expand the accented corner area by buying more panels. The panels are cut to be the perfect length for standard 8 foot ceiling height, as long as you also have standard baseboards. The idea is that the panels fit perfectly between the baseboard and the ceiling. If they're slightly too tall because you have taller baseboards or shorter ceiling height, you can cut them to size using a circular saw or a table saw. The installation is quite easy, and though it's better to do with two people, it can be done by yourself (as I did). Just apply some construction adhesive to the felt backing, hold against the wall where you want it, and then screw it to the wall with a power drill. Pro tip: use dark color screws and they'll disappear in the black felt grooves. You could also cover them up with a tiny bit of felt that you can get from a fabric store, just cut little circles and glue them to the screw head. But honestly, no one will be able to notice the screws. The color is nice and natural and looks like solid wood, even though it's MDF material. This honestly keeps the product from being too heavy, so I'm okay with it not being solid wood like some other available products out there. The felt, wood, and grooves all offer some acoustic improvements to the space where you're using it. The materials and grooves absorb sound rather than reflecting it like a solid hard surface such as a wall or ceiling. It doesn't sound-proof a space, but it certainly dampens sound and adds improved acoustics. I can highly recommend this for the aesthetics and the functionality.

I purchased these panels to create a feature wall and mount a Samsung Frame TV. I am impressed with their appearance, and the panels are effortlessly manageable and cut easily. If you plan on hanging a TV, I highly recommend reinforcing with both glue and nails to ensure a secure attachment to the wall. Considering the price, the panels boast excellent quality. Additionally, the shipping was prompt, and the items were well-protected during transit. Overall, a great investment for their aesthetic appeal and practicality.

These panels went up pretty easily. I cut each 12" panel to length using a jigsaw with fine tooth wood blade and attached them to typical 1/2" drywall using 2" 18 gauge nails w/ nailgun right through the fiber backing between slats instead of screws or adhesive as shown in their installation instructions. The 18 gauge nails disappear in the fiber backing and it looks pretty seamless. My only complaint is that the fiber backing wasn't quite straight on some of the panels so the slight overlap needed to blend the panels required that I trimmed the fiber backing with a razor blade - which came off easily. Overall would buy again if my wife decides she wants more slat paneling.

These panels are beautiful and exactly as pictured. They're the perfect wood tone and very easy to install. One of my boxes came damaged and was replaced within the same week. They give a clean modern look and are just what I was looking for.
