I bought this to house my home theater equipment. Unit came in quickly and nicely packed, no issues, albeit a bit heavy. There were two boxes, one with the unit and another one with shelves. I never put this type of a unit together, instructions were ok, but I could not figure out how to attach vertical shelves and had to watch a youtube video. It does not matter functionally, I think, but the numbers should go facing the front and the back, see pics. Normally, in home theater world, we don't want to see random numbers on equipment, but once you assemble the whole thing, they are not visible. The numbers are there to help so anyone who can't count holes can make parallel connections. Anyway, the instructions were fine, but written by a grade school student, I think, hardware was packed nicely with labeled bags and worked well. Fans are way too loud for home theater application, unless the unit is in a closet far away, keep that in mind. I am sotting 12 feet away and it is a noticeable hum. Tip, measure how shelves fit before screwing in vertical support bars, see my pic. I used the first hole upfront and the sixth from the back at the end, I think. Dont order any shelves if you don't have experience with these until the unit is assembled and exact measurements of what you need can be made. Easy to put together. And pretty sturdy. Fit everything I needed to inside without issues. Came with 3 shelves but only needed and had room for 1. Directions were easy to follow. Took a little over 30 min to assemble. Only issue I have with it is that the door doesn’t close properly without lifting up on it. Fans are a little loud but not too bad (I have heard worse) Other that that I am happy with purchase. Well worth the money. ... show more

Well packaged, clear instructions (new 2019 version, apparently), assembled quickly, looks great. Sturdy and well suited for us. We'll be leaving it on the ground, so not worried about wall-hanging option or limitation. Kinda wish the castors were lockable, but once all the cables are run it would be hard to go anywhere anyway. ... show more

    • Nice Server Cabinet
We ordered this to hold a patch panel, network switch, UPS, and a rack mount VoIP phone system. I felt like it was a great price alternative to some of the server cabinets that we have purchased in the past. The top came in bent a little bit, so when putting the frame together, we had to slightly force the top on, but once we got it into place, you couldn't tell the difference. The fans both worked fine. There is a ground cable that it looks like it should attach to the front door and then a small ground post on the bottom of the case, but following the diagram where the top and bottom cable management openings are puts the post on the backside of the rack instead of the front where the attachment is. However, we didn't find this to be much of a big deal. The only thing I would have really liked to have changed is the front door latch. It is designed so that if you want the latch closed, it has to be locked. I would have liked it if the door could be latched closed without locking it. The directions were easy to follow and I am again impressed with the quality and craftsmanship for the price point. I had some issues initially putting it together, but it was more on my side. The instructions included with this cabinet were the most worthless attempt at a manual I have ever seen, and the manufacturer should be ashamed! There were six steps listed in the instructions (listed 1,2,3,5,5,6, yes really) in broken English, and these for approximately 100 parts. None of the parts match the picture for orientation purposes, and scale is way off, I've never seen such incompetence. There were no images of the hardware to determine which of the 6 differing nuts and bolts the instruction were speaking of, and the bags of hardware had no identification information on them. There are parts that I have no idea where they go, because they weren't in the instructions. There were steps I had to take, that weren't in the instructions. There was a chunk of the coating missing off of the top panel, with rust already showing on it. And you can't just take a design that is half the size and just upscale it and expect it to work, this thing is unstable at this size, you can bend it to one side or the other because there is not structural support. I've been building things for 40 years, and I usually enjoy the process, not this time, thanks!!! ... show more
