    • The “Mazda” of Scooters…Zoom Zoom!
Style: V40 600W 25 Miles
Hold on to your butts because this thing goes! It’s like the Mazda of scooters because it zoom, zooms and vroom, vrooms. Okay maybe you don’t hear the vrooms but you can feel that pep from the moment your thumb even grazes the throttle after kick off. I bought this scooter as a Prime day gift to myself so I can have something simpler and more portable than my ebike to run errands with. And guess what? It scoots! It’s also very fun to ride for short periods at a time. It’s much easier on my old bones too than a manual scooter. In my opinion the best things about it is it’s build quality, the tire size, the screen orientation, the location of the charger port, the handle bar width, and the best of all its performance! The ride is very smooth and I went a total of 12.3 miles before the battery dropped down to two. According to the stated range in the app I could’ve gone another ten miles! That’s pretty good! I used a combination of standard and sport speed modes too. What I didn’t love about it was the handle bar assembly. It was a bit difficult for me to get the screws in and tightened up. I had to start over a few times because they kept getting stuck. I also detest the latch for the handle bar collapse. That is an awful design and it’s very difficult to align with the hook on the rear hub. The videos make it look so easy but it’s not with the v40. I truly wish that NAVEE would have included the rotating handle bars on the v40 too. All of the scooters should have that same rotating handle bar assembly because I think that makes the folding capabilities much more stable and user friendly. I also think they should make a scooter specific app and not repurpose whatever that mi home app is supposed to be. It almost reminds me of Stratis or something. One other caveat is that the scooter sits pretty high off the ground more so than manual scooters so balancing on it takes some getting used to, but once you do…zoom, zoom, zoom. Other than those minor annoyances, I highly recommend this scooter for your commuting needs as it’s more than adequate for that. I wouldn’t use it on long rides though because it’ll kill your resting foot after a while. Mine is still waking up as I write this review! My compliments to NAVEE for such a great baseline scooter. At first, I was really impressed. First off, it was much larger and beefier than I was expecting. I was a little concerned because of the max rating of 250lbs. I weigh 203 but that didn't seem to affect it much. The max speed rating seems to be pretty accurate and the features are nice. The bad: The range appears to come nowhere close to what is claimed. I rode about 12 miles and the charge was down to 2 bars out of 5. If that math holds, it would be more like 17-18 miles instead of 25. Also, because it is so large, I left it in my garage for a couple of nights when the temperature was below freezing outside. I hopped on it to ride around noon the following day but it wouldn't go above about 8 miles per hour in sport mode. The other 2 modes were basically unrideable. This puzzled me because I had ridden it several miles a few days before when the temperature was in the high 30's. I went back to the manual and saw that the manufacturer doesn't recommend riding it in cold weather. That's a deal killer for me because we definitely have winter here. The base model does not actually go 25 miles. On a single battery charge. Unless perhaps, if you were to operate it in the base drive mode. Which tops about 3 miles per hour. If you want to cruise around at 20mph. Which it does go. The distance of travel may be around 5 and a half miles total. Give or take. I have not yet dialed it in. It is a cool scooter. Cruising in wet weather, it goes fine. Unless you hit big puddles or drive across wet leaves. I wish I had bought the bigger battery scooter. That would have more of a charge. ... show more

I was not expecting for this scooter to be as quick as it is and for the battery to hold as long as it does. The assembly is very easy out of the box and it folds and stores away very easily which is great since it doesn't take up too much space. One very awesome feature is the flashlight and the stoplight on the back. I have also been able to hit a top speed of 20 mph as advertised and can use the kickstand if I want to keep it in the upright position. The media could not be loaded. Love it, got this one due to it being better for going of roading which it is easy to transition to with this one! Pretty cool it has a app for you can track the usage and what not and change some settings like cruise control and the break light from aways on. Feels good to ride its pretty tall and going over big dips didnt feel bad. Only small thing i noticed was that when you fold the bike the handle still turns and the middle rubs on the plastic and scratches but thats always a scooter thing .
