Hi, I'm a college student who has used this scooter every day for a couple of months now. I can say with certainty and confidence that the value you get with the navee v40 is worth the price. For starters, this scooter is one of the better looking ones on the market. It's simplistic and modern. 20 miles an hour is more than enough to get around and can cover a fair amount of distance at full speed. It's not slow to charge and the battery will be full if plugged in overnight. The front light is bright during the night and the brakes work very well. I've had no major issues since purchasing this scooter. If you've been researching scooters and are wondering which one is the best bang for your buck, I highly recommend this one for casual and/or everyday use. Easy 5 stars.

I am writing this complain about this company and wish I could give zero stars. They have horrible customer service. I sent my scooter to their repair facility that is in Texas. It took them more than a month to repair the scooter. They kept promising me that they would keep me updated as to the status. Well, no communication whatsoever. I have to keep emailing and calling them. They NEVER ever get in touch with you. At some point, they repaired the scooter, and sent it out. Come to find out, the UPS driver delivered the scooter to the wrong address. Contacted Navee and they said they'd send a replacement scooter. That took two and a half months to get a replacement, and they never contacted me to say what the tracking number is and when it was arriving. DO NOT buy anything from this company. They are horrible, and frustrating to deal with. I hope Amazon sees this review, and stops doing business with them. Just AWFUL!

Bought the n40 600w about 2 years ago. But used it collectively for a little less than a year. Primarily for work going to work and the gym. For 350 usd I think it's been great. 20mph is not incredibly fast, but fast enough. Battery capacity could be better but still great for what you pay for. I'm 210lbs and with only slight / moderate hills, I'll make it to and back from work (about 6 miles total) with ~40% battery leftover, and that's after full shift of leaving it on and locked. I can reach 20mph from 0 to 20 in about10 seconds no problem. The throttle is very sensitive. Hitting a small bump can cause your thumb to shift a centimeter and you will immediately feel the acceleration shift. You get used to it, but still annoying at times. This scooter has no suspensions, so you will definitely feel every bump and crevice. I live in a mostly flat and paved area so it isn't a big deal. Tires are great as well, other than needing to put some air every few months, I've accidentally hit metal chunks and rocks etc and no flats or punctures. The IP55 rating is no joke, too. I had to go home after work in a downpour and the scooter had no issues during or after. Motor is in the front tire and is pretty silent, which is nice. Scooter has an automatic braking after you let off the throttle which is nice. The back disk brake works well but not enough if I have to stop suddenly in an emergency. The xiaomi app works well. Sometimes it'll glitch and I have to reconnect the scooter here and there but no issues. The scooter's backlight is a nice feature for more visibility at night and the front light helps me see so much in the dark as well. The two screws on the upper / front side of the stem get loose from hitting bumps. I've tightened them best I could, but hitting a bump or two in first 5 minutes of riding will make them loose again. They never come out fully, but I tighten them often out of paranoia. I don't know if it's a normal amount of ''wobbling'' for a scooter stem, but it's a tad worrisome. All in all, great value for the price. Read some mixed reviews for Navee but mine works well and I haven't had any major issues. Would definitely recommend to those looking for a short distance / reliable scooter.

Update July 16 2026 The customer service agent was really sweet so I’m going to bump up my starts to 5. But just know one star is a sympathy star. Updated Follow-Up Review: NAVEE G5 + Replacement Scooter Experience Updated July 9, 2026 I wanted to add a follow-up to my original NAVEE G5 review because NAVEE did reach out after my experience and sent me a replacement scooter. First, I do appreciate that the company contacted me and tried to make the situation right. That matters. A lot of companies would have ignored the issue completely, so I want to give NAVEE credit for following up. That said, I was a little confused by the replacement they sent. On paper, the replacement model appears to be a lower model than the G5 I originally purchased and returned. That made the situation a little awkward because this review originally started as a review of the G5, but now I am also commenting on a different NAVEE scooter. For that reason, I want to be clear with anyone reading this: my original complaints were about the G5, while this update is about the replacement scooter NAVEE sent afterward. What I Like About the Replacement Scooter The first thing I noticed immediately was the braking. The brakes on the G5 felt way too aggressive to me. It was almost like you would tap the brake and feel like you were about to go flying. The replacement scooter feels much better in that area. The braking is smooth, controlled, and much more intuitive. It feels easier to trust while riding. The replacement scooter also feels surprisingly zippy. It seems to get up to 20 mph quicker than the G5 did. My guess is that it is probably lighter, so it has less mass to move when accelerating. Whatever the reason, it feels quicker off the line and more responsive for city riding. Battery life was also better than I expected. I took it out for a longer ride to the park, and the battery held up well. I still need more real-world testing before making a final call on range, but my first impression of the battery life is positive. What I Do Not Like About the Replacement Scooter The biggest downside is the lack of suspension. You definitely feel it. On smooth pavement, it is fine. But on Chicago streets, with potholes, cracks, uneven pavement, and rough patches, the missing suspension becomes noticeable very quickly. I am not sure how comfortable this will be long term if I am riding it regularly through the city. Another issue is the turn signal sound. The manual says there is a way to turn the turn signal sound off, but I do not see that option on the display or in the settings. Maybe the app needs an update, or maybe the feature is hidden somewhere, but right now I cannot find the setting the manual refers to. The other thing that still bothers me is the model choice. NAVEE sent a replacement, which I appreciate, but it feels like they sent me a lower-tier scooter instead of replacing the G5 with an equal or better model. Had they sent me a higher-end model or something clearly above the G5, this would probably be a five-star customer service recovery. Since the replacement feels like a step down on paper, I cannot quite give it that. Original G5 Review Summary The G5 had some good things going for it. It had decent city performance, Apple Find My integration, app connectivity, and useful handlebar turn signals. Those were all good features. But the problems were hard to ignore. The build quality did not feel as solid as I expected. There was too much plastic in areas that felt important, especially around the latch mechanism and display area. The brakes felt too abrupt. The advertised range did not match my real-world experience. The rear tire was losing air on a brand-new scooter. I also thought the side lights were actual turn signals, but they were only reflectors, which felt like a missed design opportunity. Because of all that, I returned the G5. Updated Verdict I am raising my overall rating from 3 stars to 4 stars because NAVEE did reach out and send a replacement scooter. That shows effort, and I respect that. However, the replacement scooter itself is not perfect. It has excellent braking, good acceleration, and solid initial battery performance, but the lack of suspension is a real drawback, especially for city streets like Chicago. I also still think it is strange that the replacement appears to be a lower model than the scooter I originally bought. I am going to keep the replacement scooter because it was sent to me and it does have some things I genuinely like. But if I were buying again with my own money, I am not sure this would be my first choice if it came down to this scooter versus another model with suspension and stronger overall build quality. Overall, NAVEE handled the follow-up better than expected, and the replacement scooter surprised me in a few ways. But as a shopper, I would still compare carefully before buying. If smooth braking, lighter weight, and quick city acceleration matter most, this scooter might work well. If comfort, suspension, and rough-road performance matter more, I would probably look at a higher model instead.

It's not often you get a product that is advertised. And the product works as advertised. The machine has a lot of power, so be careful if you're my age. At 60 years old, 210 pounds. The device can certainly get up overpasses and 20 grade hills as I use it in Utah. I ran the battery down to the last bar and had over thirty five or more miles running So I think the battery life is what the product says and boast. It's a very sturdy, get-app-and-go machine. And I suggest being very careful while you learn how to handle the torque. The directions for operation are very simple and easy to use an efficient. And it's a lot of fun day or night. Because the headlights and real lights work automatically desired settings. I don't put a lot of recommendations on Amazon. Because I buy a lot of miscellaneous. But when I buy a product that performs this well on. Most certainly going to put the best rating according to brutal honesty. Don't forget to get some head gear if you're gonna go off-road or where a sturdy helmet. Because it does go twenty miles exactly as product Advertises, and if can keep the speed going uphill at 20 grade overpasses and hills that I've been on so far. My speed with my weight only dropped 19 for just a little bit. Climbing up pills so it is very powerful and has the torque to move my big body uphills lots of fun. Enjoy to get one and be safe and careful.

Hold on to your butts because this thing goes! It’s like the Mazda of scooters because it zoom, zooms and vroom, vrooms. Okay maybe you don’t hear the vrooms but you can feel that pep from the moment your thumb even grazes the throttle after kick off. I bought this scooter as a Prime day gift to myself so I can have something simpler and more portable than my ebike to run errands with. And guess what? It scoots! It’s also very fun to ride for short periods at a time. It’s much easier on my old bones too than a manual scooter. In my opinion the best things about it is it’s build quality, the tire size, the screen orientation, the location of the charger port, the handle bar width, and the best of all its performance! The ride is very smooth and I went a total of 12.3 miles before the battery dropped down to two. According to the stated range in the app I could’ve gone another ten miles! That’s pretty good! I used a combination of standard and sport speed modes too. What I didn’t love about it was the handle bar assembly. It was a bit difficult for me to get the screws in and tightened up. I had to start over a few times because they kept getting stuck. I also detest the latch for the handle bar collapse. That is an awful design and it’s very difficult to align with the hook on the rear hub. The videos make it look so easy but it’s not with the v40. I truly wish that NAVEE would have included the rotating handle bars on the v40 too. All of the scooters should have that same rotating handle bar assembly because I think that makes the folding capabilities much more stable and user friendly. I also think they should make a scooter specific app and not repurpose whatever that mi home app is supposed to be. It almost reminds me of Stratis or something. One other caveat is that the scooter sits pretty high off the ground more so than manual scooters so balancing on it takes some getting used to, but once you do…zoom, zoom, zoom. Other than those minor annoyances, I highly recommend this scooter for your commuting needs as it’s more than adequate for that. I wouldn’t use it on long rides though because it’ll kill your resting foot after a while. Mine is still waking up as I write this review! My compliments to NAVEE for such a great baseline scooter. It certainly doesn’t ride like it’s the lower model and that’s truly amazing.
