There was absolutely no instructions accompanying this product. We weren't sure where best to place it, in full sun, in shade, is it best to place it sitting directly on the ground or up a little, anything we can do to help attract the "hotel guests" (e.g. bees, butterflies, lady bugs), should it be kept out of direct rain, so on. Also, the saw dust should have came in a little bag so we could put it in ourselves. It fell out through the screen while in shipping and was floating around inside the bubble wrap and box. ... show more

Its got everything I need but its really hard to place this thing with the spikes. eventually we took them off and just hanged it on a tree. We'll probably use a vertical one next time.

The front panel is peeling away. The nails used were not located or secure enough to hold in place. I would be happy if it was not falling apart after only a month.
