What a great value for the price. This bee house is very cute. I hung it on a tree next to my veggie garden with tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini and squash. I expect the bees to pollinate the flowers so I get a bumper crop of veggies this summer. I will be planting other flowers around the house, as well. So, I provided a nice shelter for the bees. I hope they pay rent by pollinating. I cannot review the longevity of this house. If it last a couple of years due to sun, heat and rain exposure, it is well worth the price. I look forward to watching the "friendly" bees. Maybe I should hang a sign stating "For Bees and Ladybugs Only" so wasps and other nasties stay away. ... show more

The size was as described. It was easy to install, just hang it....that's it. It is really cute, but I don't know how long it will last. The string to hang was very flimsy. I also have not seen a bee go near it yet. So performance got it 4 stars. Maybe over the next couple months it will attract bees. ... show more

As others have mentioned, these bee houses weren't made to last so when I received them with the roof slightly off and a piece of the bamboo falling out, I wasn't surprised. Because they were marked down to half price, I have the feeling that the manufacturer is now aware of the problems. I am prepared to reinforce the seams and glue the bamboo back in, so for the price the teal bee houses will work great. ... show more

I was hoping that this little house worked well enough to attract bees and keep my ladybugs safe from the lizards in my garden but unfortunately none has happened. What has happened though is that the roof is not nailed in it’s held together by glue that can’t withhold the heat from the sun so comes undone as you can see in my pictures. Sadly, that’s not the only issue. To my shock the bamboo is starting to rot and now I will DEFINITELY will not have any kind of critter making a home out of this due to it rotting. Don’t recommend.. not weather proof at all. Cute but not worth it.. ... show more
