These Really work! And quickly ! The bats have moved from my front and back deck ! The daily messes were terrible and unhealthy to clean up! This is wonderful ! I ordered two, one for the front deck one for the back. Total Success!! Within about 3 days ! But they started working immmediatley !

I don't really know if they work...I know they are expensive and not well built, but we do seem to have "less" bat activity. Could be the weather, could be the device but for what they cost, they shouldn't be built so cheaply. flimsy plastic, flimsy cords. I would recommend adding mounting hardware so that if you need to put them at a higher place, they don't fall...b/c they break easily.

These bat repelling devices came nicely packaged. They are simple to install as long as you have an electrical outlet close to where you want to place them. We currently have similar devices as we had a bad bat problem a few years ago. It was time to replace them. These products work as we do not have any bats trying to nest in our roof any longer or climb up into the deck umbrella and scare you when you open it up and have them fall out. The multi directional ports emitting the ultrasonic waves are better than what we had. The emitters did not bother our 2 labs at all. Note that the bats can get in the smallest hole so checking for any places they can enter and dealing with that is important also.

I love bats and know they can really be useful to have around, just not in my attic. At the moment I don't have a full blown problem but I have seen a few curious ones and wanted to stop it before it got serious. I got these because it is humane, simple to use and something I can do on my own. They aren't that large so finding a home for them even in a packed attic isn't a problem. They are made of fairly thin plastic so while I don't know how well that would hold up if dropped or in the elements I do like it for inside. It makes it easy to wipe down and I don't think the heat in the attic will be an issue. The one problem I do have is that you will need to plug it in to work and the cord just really isn't that long. If you are sort on sockets in your attic or wherever you choose to place this you might end up needing an extension cord.

These are remarkable gadgets that really work. I placed one in a bat-infested garage - I mean, there were at least a hundred bats holed up in the walls and hanging from the ceiling. Nobody wanted to go in the garage, and the outside was a mess of bat guano on the walls. So gross. In the early evening, they all flew out in great clouds. I tried a few different things, but nothing worked until I turned on one of these one day. All of a sudden, there was a lot of activity, and most of the bats just flew away into the nearby trees, never to return. The rest eventually moved out over a period of about two weeks. A couple pieces of advice; it's best to chase bats out when they don't have babies to nurture, so just check with your local extension office to find out when that is, and this device works the best in an enclosed, but open area, like an attic, because it depends on the sound waves to bounce around.

I like that each plug in unit claims to blanket about 5,000 square feet, enough for a barn or attic without extra gear. The three speaker layout, two sides plus top, aims sound upward and outward so rafters get covered. Choosing among A, B, and C modes allows rotating frequencies and avoid animal habituation. The six foot cord plugs into standard indoor outlets yet reaches distant sockets and keeps the housing off dusty floors. Since it uses only ultrasonic waves, pets and livestock stay safe.

Plastic casing seems very cheap, so I'm a bit skeptical about it holding up long term outside. I have both of them plugged up on my deck outside where bats seems to come back and hide near the guttering despite everything I've tried in the past to keep them away. I haven't seen any yet, though they're not their constantly so will hopefully have an update in the future as to whether these work very well.
