Personally I don’t feel this cleans the brushes very well. Soap, warm water and elbow grease is what I prefer. I use it for drying the brushes and bringing leftover product down to the tips of the bristles. I have originally purchased mine from Costco and I love it! Everyone who owns makeup needs one of these. Presentation: Not happy with the presentation of the boxes. I had ordered five boxes as gifts; all boxes had a "store return" looked to it. One box was badly damaged (see picture). I dont believe that shipping caused it because the cardboard box is not damaged. Product: I have ordered all of my handles rose gold and they looked used and faded (see picture for example). I didn’t think this brush cleaner would work but once I tried it I fell in love with it. It is easy to use and your brushes come out so clean. The brushes are usually like 90 percent dry when you take them out so the drying process is shorter than if you clean your brushes by hand.

I was so excited to purchase this and really regret my decision. The box was totally mutilated when I received it but everything appeared to be okay. However, after multiple cleanings my brushes were left very oily and still full of makeup. I use Bare Minerals Blemish Remedy because I have had acne prone skin that I have had under control for over a year but I started having breakouts again after “cleaning” my brushes with this system. I am so disappointed and am unable to return. I even bought the extra bottle of cleaning solution that I won’t be using and can’t return because it is “flammable”.
