First step: I bought 2 packets of 8 sachets. Then, I placed 2 sachets close to the area where I spotted the bats entrance. Second step: 2 days later, the bats gone and added 2 sachets inside the main spots. Third step: Blocked the holds and main entrance for the bats in the attic. Okay, so I don't have a belfry but I do have an attic and I have bats in my attic, about a dozen midwestern brown bats. I had high hopes this product would work. But alas, I still have bats in my attic! Followed directions using one scent pack per 150 sq ft, increase number of scent pack as needed until desired results are obtained. I put all four scent packs within an 8 x 8 foot area which is 64 square feet. First day, bats were gone, second day bats were back. All four scent packs are still in place. My attic has ridge and soffit vents. The bats are nesting at the soffit vent. They are getting fresh air all the time. I don't blame them ... it is hot in the attic. To find out even if this has a remote chance of working, I would have to put these packs on the soffit vent. One problem ... the bats are between me and the soffit vent. Maybe a long pole with a hand on the end ... who knows! ... show more

This is my second time purchasing this product. The first time we bought it the bats were gone quick with in a day and had stayed gone for the rest of the year now that spring is back they came back so we bought it again hoping for the same results.
