I actually bought a second one because the first one came in the wrong color so needed to be returned. I really like this rug and it looks very nice in my room. My only problem has been getting the edges to lie flat. They want to flip up which is not only unpleasant looking but a tripping hazard. I’ve placed books on the edges for a few days but they seem to curl back up as soon as the books are removed. I’m going to perhaps roll it in the opposite direction and keep it that way a few days to try to get it to behave. Why did you pick this product vs others?: color. The color of this rug is very pretty. It was listed as turquoise, but it’s actually closer to a dark teal shade, however, it does work with my lighter colored turquoise items in the room. The pile is very soft, but it is very thin. I believe I will do what another person suggested, and place another rug underneath it. My biggest disappointment is that the rug will not lay down flat. I have placed weights on it, I have taped it down and left it for a couple of days, and while the edges seem to have relaxed and light near the floor, the ripples created from the rug not being rolled evenly, and the weight of the rug itself causing the ends to fold when it was standing up on its end during transit have created these ripples. Had I known it would do this and not flatten, I would have returned it. At this point I can only hope that it will eventually relax and flatten out. If this had not been the last one in this color, I would have sent it back before pulling the cover off because of the way it was bent on the ends, but I was hopeful that it would be OK so buyers, if you receive one that has been rolled at an angle and the ends are cramped or folded, go ahead and send it back to re-order one that isn’t bent so badly that it will not flatten. It arrived ahead of the scheduled delivery date, which is a plus. It is robot vacuum friendly. I bought it for our living room and liked it so much I am getting another one for the dinning room.
