  • Best value out there!
Best deal out there for a rooftop tent! I was impressed with the speed of shipping and it showing up in an easy to open wood box. Getting the tent mounted took two people and the hardware worked with no issues. In the field the tent is easy to set up and break down. The sleeping pad is shockingly comfortable with no need to add extra padding. ... show more

  • Easy set up and take down
Great quality, so easy to set up, very comfortable, great quality with lots of extras, and this is highest quality canvas and pieces of equipment and value for the money we had bulky bars for our tundra so easy fit.

  • Well worth the value! The parts are inside!
First things first, the crate opens pretty easy. It's also easy to break down and dispose of. So no worries on that part I got the crate opened up and I could not find any of the brackets or mounting assembly. This turned into a problem and huge pain! I ran to the hardware store and figured a way to get it mounted. Next day I went out and popped open the tent. Climbed up inside of it....guess what? All the mounting brackets and assembly where, "INSIDE" it! Yup, no joke. No way of knowing that unless you popped the tent open on the ground before mounting it. The directions will not tell you this. You will have no way of knowing this, unless you pop the tent on the ground first. Hope you read that right. The tent has more than enough room for 2 people and maybe a small child. There is no room for bedding to be stored in tent, during transport. It will not close properly, unless you remove everything before tear down. It opens up relatively easy. After a little practice, less than 5 minutes. Most of the effort in setup is putting your bedding all back inside of it. Same is true for tear down. Got to move every out. I have seen similar roof tents advertisimg that there's plenty of room inside to transport bedding without removing. I will admit, that sound really cool, and would make that much more easy to set up and tear down. But it will cost you anyway from 500 to 2000 more. For the value, it's not really that big of a deal to me to do the extra 5 minutes of work. Mattress, is firm, but comfortable. I mean your camping, and your not laying on the ground. It's not total glamping style, but it's more than comfortable enough for any outdoors person. Hey, your not on the ground, and it didn't cost you $2,000 to $5,000 bucks! It's a great quality for the price. I used it once for a one night as test camp. It's actually really worth the value. I have seen these type things going for $2,000 to $5,000. I don't know what a really nice one looks like on onside, but this seems well worth the value to me. You can get larger and fancier one, for an extra grand but I don't really know what the trade off would be when it comes to value. I pretty happy and excited about it. No more pulling up late at night in the dark and rain, fumbling with tent poles and stakes! ... show more

  • Not bad
Only gripe I have is that the mattress hurts my back and that the inner liner is starting to lift

  • Received damaged tent, seller rectified situation
Received tent with broken retention strap and sliced tent. So now I get the choice of keeping a faulty unit OR pack it up and haul it to an Amazon shipping center. Big roll of the dice purchase, if not damaged, great product. If damaged, good luck Update Seller responded after this review with the solution of sending replacement parts. They arrived today. I would buy again from this seller. ... show more

  • Completely Disillusioned with Rooftop Tent
When it rains, the tent leaks and the sealing is bad. The ladder is of poor quality and hard to fold. The space is small and the actual usable space is limited. The LED light is dim and doesn't provide enough illumination. Buying it was a big mistake.

  • Lacking QA..
Product looks durable and is easy to set up/take down. Unfortunately had a small cut o the rain flap on the rear, no big deal but the aluminum chips/slivers all over the mattress and under it. I have worked with enough sheet metal to know metal slivers are no fun to find! Company could have taken 2 seconds with an air hose to clean surfaces. Might update as I actually use product. ... show more

  • The latch of the tent that I received does not work. The bolts that came are short.
The media could not be loaded. For the $300 shipping that I paid for, I'm happy with the packaging. There is a small damage (hole) but did not affect the item. It is well insulated. The bolts that came with it are short, not as long as the one in their ad. The latch won't close. I have not inspected the inside yet because of the installation problem with the short bolts. I had to close it again and tie it with straps so that I could go to the store and get the correct size of bolts from HD. That's when I discovered that the latch won't close. Mr. Seller, please send a replacement latch that works and I'm hoping that you will also give me credits for all the hassles that I experienced. I'm giving a 1 star for now but I will update this review when the issues that I have are resolved. Thank you. This is a follow-up review after I resolved the issues. The seller is very quick in responding to my issues and apologetic. They wanted to send me longer bolts but since I already bought replacements locally, they agreed to reimburse me for the parts and labor that I spent. As to the latch, they sent a video of how to install the latch although I already had it fixed by a friend. It turned out that I inserted the belt into the wrong hole. My tent is now fully installed and ready to go on a trip. It looks great! I just wished that it came with some kind of a lock so that it can't easiy be stolen. ... show more
