When I think of allergies, I think of simple ones like runny nose and sneezing, a skin rash like hives, and of course the more serious ones some unfortunate people have like not being able to breath after eating peanuts. Some respiratory allergies to things like pollen can in turn, can cause bronchitis. I started taking Alive for Men 50+ a few years ago and have been taking them regularly since around 2019....every day. I tend to eat better than the average person, so in terms of 'energy' etc.......I didn't notice much of a difference. What I DID notice is very gradually after I started taking Alive for Men 50+ is a mild bronchitis and constant tickling in the back of my throat. At the time, I made no connection between the vitamins and the bronchitis.....so, I went to my GP, then to an ENT and then to a gastro doctor trying to figure it out. At first, my GP suggested it was allergies, but allergy meds didn't seem to help much. Then, because of my age he thought that perhaps I developed COPD. The ENT suggested it was due to "Laryngopharyngeal reflux"....so I went to see a gastrointestinal doctor. He prescribed antacids, which didn't really do anything. Unfortunately, I had to accept that maybe my GP was correct and it was something I would just have to live with as I get older. I didn't understand it though.........I thought to myself, "I eat right, I take vitamins, how could this be?". Because I had always experienced seasonal allergies to some degree, I sat down one day and started to read up on all the "herbal" ingredients in this medication. On a hunch, I thought, "Maybe I should try a week or two OFF of the vitamins to see if my bronchitis improves". Well, after only one week, there is a notable improvement. Since the bronchitis started not long after I began taking Alive Mens' 50+ daily a few years ago and have been dealing with bronchitis every day, ever since....I think it would be a major coincidence that it subsided as much as it did after only one week of not taking the vitamins. I can't say conclusively that this was the reason, I'm obviously not a doctor. However, it makes perfect sense to me, as a person who has had seasonal allergies in the past. Read the label, there are all kinds of plants, roots and flowers, including marigolds. I'm sure the vast majority of people who take this vitamin have no problems.....BUT, if you are the least bit ALLERGY PRONE, I would suggest you be very wary of anything with herbs, plants, flowers or roots. I'm just happen to have this several year bronchitis finally simmer down and get better. I hope it continues to get better.

I don't like all the fruit graphics leading myself to believe they wouldn't be awful, way off they are terrible. now the actual issue I received the women's version of the product, so much of a matching label that I opened the bottle all the while thinking they were the correct ones, then after the taste made my face turn inside out with grossosity I looked closer and discovered it was the wrong item, GREAT now I go try to contact amazon about this situation, when I spent an hour going around in lumpy circles i was ready to put amazon completely out of my misery but that would help nothing, and the box has the wrong inventory label on it . about twenty dollars and a couple hours of my life, that's what I want back and for amazon to let people contact them in stead of this big fat game of can't catch me to hide behind. yeah I got the women's vitamins that suck and I can't return them, and that is why I wrote this song. so angry K.D.

Estaba muy motivado por los ingredientes y especificaciones. Pero lo primero fue tomarlas casi me atraganto y me trajo consigo una inflamacion en la traquea y faringue que no puede ni siquiera partirlas por la mitad porque como quiera me molestaba. Lo segundo fue comense a defecar de color verde y me aumentaron los niveles enzimaticos y sino fuera poco me causaron muchos gases y flatulencias y ardor estomacal. Al final gaste mas en consultas con el gastroenterologo y en analisis y medicamentos. No comprar es una bomba para personss de 50 en adelante..no vale la pena.

Nature's way reformulated from the men's 50+ extra to the "ultra" and made a product folks are having allergic reactions to. you might be fine. I got hives and had to switch back. but the previous formula is hard to find. The gummies are missing the mushrooms.

Have used these products for years. Had these on auto delivery and they sent a box before I could cancel. My husband gets very ill after taking these now. He gets nauseated and can't eat for hours. Has kept him up at night with gerd like symptoms. I don't know if they changed the formula but I have a whole bottle I can't return and one half empty to throw out. They do sit hard on stomach so we do make sure we eat with them.

When I went to open the sealed box, 3 months after purchase, the bottle had no lid & vitamins were scattered inside the box!! What??!! And of course, it's 2 months past the return window, & my husband needs his vitamins. I would like a replacement, please!!

I bought these because of the high percentage of different vitamins in them. I have now taken them for 6 days straight. I cannot feel any extra energy or any effect from them, whatsover. I have only had one other brand vitamin in my lifetime that the same thing happened, and that company eventually went out of business. I will not be buying these again. Worthless.
