My doctor recommended I take 3 different vitamins, one of which is D3. Upon going to the pharmacy, Nature Made was recommended to me. I ended up getting all 3 from Nature Made. i don't regret it. Sometimes tablets can be difficult to swallow, but these go down easily for me. I didn't add "Absorbency" to my review because I don't quite know what that's supposed to mean. If clarified for me, I can iiinclude whatever is needed, in another review. Priciing is fair, but as we all know, these days absolutely everything has gone up pricewise. One has to just judge for oneself what is worth its price, however you decide to judge it. I've been taking a Vitamin D3 supplement for quite a while following a recommendation from my primary care physician due to a low level. While we've largely addressed that deficit - my levels are now normal, I have continued to use the supplement as it supports my bone health and also seems to have a positive impact on spasms following a late 2019 amputation. In a recent conversation with a nutritionist I'm working with on wound care issues, she cited three particular brands that do a really good job of required lab testing to ensure the efficacy of their products. Nature Made was one of those brands. Since I was starting some additional supplements with Nature Made, I decided to switch my D3 to Nature Made. I've definitely been happy with the change. This is a bottle of D3 5000 IU - this is considered extra strength for Vitamin D3. The bottle has 70 fast dissolve tablets and is considered a 70 day supply. The bottle was appropriately sealed and has a pretty easy to use flip-top that I really like. This has a mixed berry flavor - I'll admit I didn't notice this when I ordered, however, I do like it. These are easy to swallow and my levels continue to be within normal limits. The flavor is pleasing without being overwhelming. Without Vitamin D3 supplements , get very sick. So it is crucial the product be what they say it is. That they have the amount of D3 they say are in the bottle. Most of the time, these have worked. Every so often, it was obvious there have been some batches that did not work. Have to have multiple batches now, in case the supplements don’t work. So far nature made has been most consistent in providing a product that works. I am working on creating an assay, so I can check the presence of D3, but it could take a while.
