Easy to install and works great. Only downside is it has to be turned on via the indoor control panel after a power outage. Otherwise, great product so far.

I have this installed in my off grid cabin and so far, it is working great. Since we are solar and wind powered we needed a propane water heater. We are pretty high up in altitude and were worried about how well it would work, but I can say it is doing fine. We are only running one or two appliances at a time and it keeps up nicely. No issues running a shower and the sink at the same time. Installation was no more difficult that you would expect. Instructions and manual were well done and easy to follow. We haven'tuse it enough to judge the propane useage, but from what I can tell it won't be much at all. Overall, this is a great choice for a whole house water heater. Mizudo is a newer brand owned by Fogatti. It appears that Fogatti began with RV water heaters and is branching out (perhaps buying other companies?) into home hot water. This is a medium capacity hot water heater for a smaller home in the north or a larger home in the south. it has the BTU and GPM capacity to handle two to three major hot water needs (dishwasher, shower, sink) at one time in the middle Midwest and lower New England. We got this heater thinking we would use it at a property in northern Michigan. We still may do so, though the need for a propane heater disappeared when we bought a property with gas available rather than the more off-grid property we originally thought we might get. The property we own has no space inside for a gas heater. This heater's ability to be placed outside, along with its use of propane for fuel, made it desirable. We've had a tankless gas hot water heater at our main home for nearly twenty years now and it has worked flawlessly. I'm a fan of tankless, especially in vacation homes.... ... show more
