I have anxiety but my therapist does not want me to go on medicine because I have the ability to breath through it. I’ve noticed in high stress situations at work, I feel flutters in my face and chest when I’m overwhelmed and anxious. My acne gets painful when I’m stressed and anxious, but that has gone down as well over the last month. After taking this, my anxiety is almost nonexistent and I feel amazing. I was really excited to finally try something natural to help with my anxiety. I checked reviews and did my research before choosing Natrol 5-HTP. I had just arrived home from a long sunfilled camping trip and saw my package waiting. The next morning, I took all my morning medications including one 5-HTP tablet as indicated. About 20 minutes later.. driving in my car on the freeway I began to feel very hot and nauseous. Once getting to my destination which luckily was 5 minutes away, I heaved and threw up, got really weak and stomach cramps hit. This lasted atleast an hour, I assured myself it was heat stroke of some sort. Same thing happened later that afternoon, after feeling better and yes I had taken an evening dose of 5-HTP but still wondered if it was the heat. Long story short, I finally linked the nausea, diarrhea, stomach craps and everything to taking this medication.. as directed. After doing some research of my own I discovered many products like these were pulled back in the 90's due to a product called PeakX making 1000's sick. They were just brought back safely in 2005. * You can get too much seratonin taking this medication if any of your other medications have any seratonin in them and get sick. * This medication can also cause Eosinophilia/eosinophilia-myalgia Be careful and do your own research. ... show more
