This majestic Downswept Douglas Fir tree is 4.5 feet tall and 38 inches in diameter at the bottom, giving the tree a wide profile. Friends and family alike will marvel at how the tree closely mimics those outside. Molded from real tree branches for an authentic living tree appearance, this tree features our trademarked ‘Feel Real’ technology. Hundreds of crush-resistant polyethylene tips form full bodied branches to create a tree with remarkable realism. The tree is designed with a hinged branch system that allows the branches to swing down for a quick and simple set-up and fold back in for easy storage. Set aside 45-60 minutes after assembly to properly shape the tree by peeling back the branches and pulling the tips apart to give the branches a more full-bodied look. This fantastically festive tree is strung with 900 Dual Color LED lights prior to packaging and includes a sturdy, metal base for a more convenient setup. The Dual Color LED bulbs can alternate between white and multicolor lights and includes a switch to control ten different light functions, allowing the bulbs to twinkle, flash or fade on either color setting. The lights operate individually, so if the bulb lens has not been cracked or broken, the light set will continue to illuminate except for any individual bulbs that are not working. I haven't really looked at fake trees in years, my old tabletop tree is from the early 2000's and we decided to upgrade to something slightly bigger and settled on the 4.5' size. I mostly picked this because it was available in the Douglas Fir, which was the type of real tree my Dad always got when I was growing up. This tree is beautiful and so thoughtfully designed compared to my old tree. There are two types of branches, the ones closes to the "trunk" are made of the old-school fake tree material, but the ones further out (where you would be seeing them close-up or handling them) are made from a softer plastic but they look amazingly real. The different light options are fun, I only wish this had a built in timer or a remote but we can always add one. There also appears to be a plug at the top of the tree, I assume this brand sells toppers that you can plug in. Great tree, worth the price. I look forward to using it each year! ... show more

Given some of the reviews I was unsure how real these branches would look. Immediately after opening the box I could tell I had worried for nothing. The branches are beautiful. Yes, the branches closer in to the trunk are constructed differently, but you don't really notice it. Setting up and shaping the tree was very easy and the 4.5 ft size is perfect, especially when put on a 12" high crate or table. The free is small and lightweight and will be easy to store and tote around. All the lights work and the foot switch is easy to operate, running through all ten functions: steady warm white, twinkle warm white, steady multicolor, twinkle multicolor, steady pastel, fading warm white to multicolor, random fading, fading warm white, fading multicolor, flashing warm white to multicolor. Preventing the 5th star in my rating: the light functions do not include solid colors: green blue, red, purple, or being able to transition thru solid colors: green fading to blue, fading to red...etc. I was expecting this but probably just got mixed up with the several trees I looked at before purchasing. Also - while the stand is extremely easy to assemble, the design - a single eye bolt to hold the tree in place - means you've got to REALLY tighten it to prevent the tree from leaning. (REALLY = husband with some big pliers). I may need his help again when it comes time to loosen this eye bolt. A better design might have been to have four eye bolts. Finally, no fuses were included in the packaging, but in their place were two black plug-like plastic pieces (no references to them in the instruction sheet). I have sent feedback to the seller to see if they can send us the fuses. All in all I really LOVE this tree and hope to have it for several years. It will be nice not to wrestle our old 6.5 footer in and out of the house any longer! ... show more

The tree is exactly as advertised. I bought the 4 and a half foot tall 'Full Downswept Duglas Fir' and have it sitting on top of a 3 foot tall pedestal. My ceilings are 8 ft tall, which left plenty of room for a tree topper. Is it pure laziness or lack of knowledge from consumers who buy these artificial trees and complain about them being sparse? These trees are very full and require about 30 minutes of organizing and fluffing out the branches and limbs. It is full, sturdy and you can tell it's good quality with a tad more weight than your cheaper trees....just enough weight to keep it sturdy and not topple over. The base has 4 solid legs that span a total of 14 inches, so make sure whatever you're putting it on that you have atleast 14 inches of space to set the tree on. The branches are realistic and sturdy, yet pliable enough to mold however you want them. I love my new tree! If you're not putting this on a pedestal or stand and setting this up on the floor, the top of the tree will come to your chest (Im 5'9") ... show more

I've been on the fence for years about artificial trees. Real trees are better for the environment and are a life-long tradition for me. But this year I took a deep breath and ordered this small tree. PROs: -Way easier to set up and fluff than I expected. Looks really full and natural -I don't have to water it or wonder if mold is growing in the water! -No needle mess to clean up (no bugs hatching either) -Multi light options are great - we only used the colored and the all warm white but there are options to suit anyone! -Packed up fast and fit back in the box it came in. CONs -Doesn't smell or feel like a fresh tree -Don't get to go slog thru mud and rain and snow to cut a tree and wrestle it home on/in your car. TIPS I set this on a table so it's full height allowing for packages below. I got tired of cycling through the light modes to turn it off at night so I plugged it into a Amazon Alexa smart plug and was able to tell Alexa to turn the tree on/off. Perfect! I highly recommend this tree! I spent a lot of time looking at trees and the downswept real feel is worth the extra cost. No one offered me anything to write this review either! GO GET ONE NEXT YEAR! ... show more
