I bought these for one spot in my remodel and then ended up not using them. Recently however I just finished remodeling my basement and decided to use them there instead. To my surprise they are MUCH higher quality then I was expecting. The shade does a very good job of cutting out lightbulb glare even when you are sitting a little below them. In my case I paired them with some Philip Hue light bulbs and a wireless remote. Only downside was that the cord and brass cover for the cord was a little bit of a pain to get set up... but looks great when done. ... show more

Looks great, feels quality. Easy install. A little disappointed there isn't any bulbs included at this price point, nor anything to secure the cabling and rod to the wall. These lights were very well packaged upon arrival and the directions for assembly were user friendly. We chose to use rechargeable lightbulb, so I cannot speak to hardwiring process. The arm of the light is durable, even at full extension. It is not a bulky or heavy fixture. The media could not be loaded. I purchased this black wall sconce along with another one in the gold color. This sconce was more sturdy as compared to the gold one. It also had the ability to move back and forth 180°. The gold one only had 90 degree mobility. I added a dimmer switch which allowed me to dim the light and conveniently have the dimmer switch right where I wanted it. The cord on the sconce has an on-off button and if you don't add a dimmer you must use the switch where it is on the cord line. The dimmer only required that you plug the wall sconce cord into it. Please see photo. I found it Easy to install in the light is definitely adequate reading for reading in bed. It does not come with bulbs so I purchased the bulbs that were recommended by another reviewer 60 W daylight 5000K, type G. These were very bright and I was happy to have the dimmer. ... show more
