I love this new light fixture for my dining room. It's a beautiful brushed brass color. Feels well made and was easy to hang with two people. The cords that hang down sat in a box for a while so they took some time to straighten out after we hung the light. Very adjustable. There is ton of extra material to make these as long or as short as you need them. I actually bought this for my rental and ended up putting it in my home because it was so cute. I really love this light fixture. It has a fun, modern look without being so modern that it feels out of place in a normal house. My style leans a little more Scandinavian: clean lines, simple, not too fussy, and this fits that vibe really well. It looks sleek over my dining table and adds a lot more personality than a basic fixture without being too loud or trendy. That was exactly what I wanted. Something that made the room feel a little more updated, but not like I was trying too hard. The one thing I would say is to take your time getting it perfectly even during installation. It is a little tricky to get both lights hanging exactly right, and once it is up, it is not the easiest thing to adjust. It is absolutely doable, but this is one of those projects where you want to slow down and get it right the first time. Also, the black cord/string takes a while to fully straighten out. Mine are still a little crinkled, so I am hoping they relax more over time. It does not ruin the look, but it is noticeable if you are paying close attention. Overall, I am really happy with it. It looks stylish, clean, and more expensive than it is. It gave our space a much more modern feel while still fitting into a warm, livable home. As you can see from the photos, I didn't hang this as intended...not because it wasn't a fun statement piece but because I had specific light requirements I needed 3 separate "pendants type" fixtures for. I spent a lot of time looking for a dome fixture that was big and not too pricey. This has two domes that were just what I wanted, but honestly struggled finding in this size and price range. It is a great knock off for the high dollar retail ones found in places like PB, RH, West Elm, Aurhaus or CB2. At this price point, I decided to get creative and create my own version of what I wanted. This light is amazing in size and color. The gold is a perfect shade and isn't brassy or shiny, but rather a brushed gold finish on the outside and a nice crisp white on the inside. Conversion: I bought 2 separate fixtures to get the 3 domes I needed. I then purchased 3 ceiling mount/covers (from Amazon) and some spray paint that matched the dome. I removed the bar that the black electrical cording runs through (separately for each light- which made it easier to convert) and it created two separate pendant type lights. They were then installed into the ceiling light box. This light fixture would be great if the company created a separated version. I struggled with the fact that my ultimate vision would have been to have the gold bars go all the way up to the ceiling. With more effort and time probably could have found a way to do it and the thick, covered wire settled easily into a straight line. In the end, the contrast works for my kitchen because I have black within it. I highly recommend this light, regardless of how you use it- just for the fact that it's a great size and price that is hard to come by, and the color is perfect and not the brassy, shiny gold that most things from Amazon come in. Note to manufacturer/seller... Highly recommended adding a choice to purchase these separately. I would have paid the same price for just one, if it had the option. Also...selling the bars to add on and cover wiring would be an additional bonus! ... show more

I had not realized when looking online that the black wire would be exposed because no posts are given to cover the length of wire, which is so ugly! Also, since the dome is metal, it blocks all the light from spreading and does not light the area at all. The glass pendant that matches this is amazing though! This one is being returned and I will putchase a different one for over kitchen table. ... show more
