This book is a thorough, yet concise little handbook. It covers what to take and why, how to prep, pack, and most of all track your items. The layout and sequencing was well done, including a section on getting supplies cleaned, repaired and ready for the next trip, when you return home. No photos, no figures, no filler, just great advice from someone who clearly has extensive car camping experience. If prepping for a trip is part of the fun for you, as it is for me, you will enjoy this book. I purchased a paperback copy within the first few days of publication, but I only see the Kindle option as I write this. Returning to camping after a long break. This book covers it all plus some. It is very direct and to the point even to address checking your vehicle's oil prior to the trip.
