    • I want to like it but it broke in less than a week.

This table is perfect for our needs- compact and adjustable in case we need it. My husband and I put this together in 75 minutes and instructions were easy to follow. We love the color and the look. However, it is not designed well. The table leaves are supposed to hold up to 50lbs. I leaned on one of the leaves with two hands and the whole leaf fell and the wooden boxes underneath the table that hold the wood blocks which support the open leaf both cracked and fell. We left a message with the manufacturer to let's see how they respond. We have had it for 7 days only! I hope they can make it right. UPDATE I originally gave this product 1 star but after working with their customer service, I added 3 more stars. Cameron was exceptional in his support. He helped make this right for us and as a result, we would consider giving Nathan James another chance (with another product) because if anything went wrong, we know that someone like Cameron would handle it. Bought for my mom to do puzzles in her assisted living home. Easy to assemble but came with one corner damaged. Emailed Nathan James and sent pics and requested docs on Sunday. Hadn’t heard back so o called on Wednesday and was told that they would ship out an entire new table with no return of the damaged one. New table arrived a week later. Customer service was amazing even though I had to call. Because of the excellent customer service I have bought two Nathan James side tables for my guest bedroom. They went together easily also. We had a little issue with the first table we ordered (one of the legs were broken and the screw holes were stripped out)...so I contacted Nathan James. I was surprised when they told me they would just send me a brand new table! I am very pleased with this table and it works perfectly in our camper! It’s very sturdy, easy to assemble and gives the option of accommodating 2-6 people! I was also very surprised to receive a thank you gift of chocolates for our troubles!     • The leaf collapses

This product looks great as a table against my dining room wall to use as a buffet. It matches my table and chairs. I planned on using it with the leafs down until I needed it for a gathering. I put up the leaf for the buffet and after a half hour it collapsed with the food tumbling to the floor. The dishes were not heavy. They were paper or aluminum. . It was put together correctly but the wood holding the pegs in place for the leafs were weak. A lot of money was wasted as this was not a cheap piece and cannot be returned due to time policy. In addition it was very embarrassing for it to happen in front of all my company. I gave it one star purely for appearance but it is garbage and they do not stand by their products. If I had purchased it anywhere else I would have been able to return it but I could not find it elsewhere. And as a side note they sent me the wrong item first and I had to wait for and exchange. This is a good looking table, 4-6 adults can comfortably sit. Our table has one flaw though 1 side of the leaf wouldn't go down easily because the slot which holds the support bar is not filed well - this is something that I cannot fix at home on my own as the slot is made up of metal and too much hassle to return the assembled table I keep both leafs open, knocked one star for that. The table is not sturdy (for eg. one cannot just lean one side), the surface can be easily scratched but then we mostly use the table for our meals and have a cover on top. This is a good table for sitting together but would look for sturdier table when this one no longer works. ... show more

This is a great table and perfect for apartments. I’m able to comfortably fit 6 people eating around it with the leaves up. It’s true to color and was pretty easy to put together. A friend was looking for a table a few months after I got this. She got the lighter version and it looks great too!
