Our previous LED reading light stopped working due to damaged transformer power supply . I need one replacement book light soon so I can write letter for my son at Navy boot camp after work. The media could not be loaded. *Minus 1 star because the power cord is really short. I have this clamped to the top of my sleigh bed headboard and it barely reaches the outlet that’s right beside my box spring. *Minus 1 star because the on/off button has a blue light on it. Even when the reading light is turned off that blue light is shining bright in the dark! Depending on where you have the reading light clamped, you may not be able to shield yourself from the button-light. *In the video I shared those are the different brightness degrees with every click of the switch. It’s too bright to lie next to someone and use it at night. *The clamp is awesome. And it hangs on tight even while adjusting the gooseneck. ... show more

My son loves this light for reading at night. His book light broke and was pretty annoying because it had to be clipped to his book. This hands free light clips to his bed nicely and he is free to move around with his book in his hand and the light stays put. It is very bright at its highest setting. This allows him to reading as long as he wants while his little brother sleeps in the same room undisturbed. It feels heavy duty and not flimsy so I have peace of mind my 8 year old won’t break it easily. My son only wishes it had a setting for a warmer light more on the yellow side. ... show more
