The media could not be loaded. I bought this product about 2+ months ago from Amazon and installed it less then a month ago. It is beautiful electric LED fireplace and we like the look.. it is slick and contemporary ! But to my very unpleasant SURPRISE, it has stopped working and the LED flame is frozen now. Heater is working fine though. It happened a week back. We had turned it on and it was running fine. All of a sudden, it just froze. We tried to turn it off and on a few times, but got the same result. We turned the main power off and tried to start again ( like reboot ), it did work a couple of times, but within a minute or two it froze again. It has been less then a month, we have installed it. We don't even use it on daily basis. And it is not cheap product, we spent close to $2000. May be I got a lemon or defective item. I am positive that company or seller would take care of it soon. But frustrating to go through this. I have contacted Napoleon company, but no response yet. Tried to call them and after holding call for 80 minutes I had to hang up. !!! I have contacted seller and waiting for reply. If it is not resolved soon, I will have to return the item. It is hassle to return as it is nicely installed now. Much more work to take it out and pack it properly etc. Not happy with this experience.. but no choice now.. have to deal with it

Honestly when it worked, the unit is really nice. Let me explain...I ordered the product and had a custom build out built specifically for the unit. I used it three times very minimally and then the flames froze. The product manual states there is an issue with the motor. I reached out on Amazon and they directed me to the seller. The seller stated I need to contact the manufacturer. After waiting on hold over 90 minutes for the manufacturer they stated I need to contact the dealer where I purchased the unit. The Amazon dealer is very unhelpful and to date I still have a faulty unit in my wall. So essentially I paid $1899 for a product that does not properly function and a seller and manufacturer that are unwilling to replace the unit or send a technician to fix the unit. And, I will add, this issue with the product began within 30 days of the purchase. So, if you want a similar electric fireplace unit please do yourself a favor and purchase from a local vendor that will support you and the unit should you encounter any issues. I strongly reccomend not purchasing this item from Amazon or their third party vendors because the post purchase product customer service is undeniably horrible!

Loved this fireplace until it stopped working only a couple times of using...flames paused and began making a loud noise. Amazon will not do anything and Napoleon will send you a replacement part but only to a licensed electrician.... so you need to hire someone to fix....mind you I still have not received a replacement part... ..very disappointed in Amazon and Napoleon. They have also told me that I am responsible for hiring my own electrician

After doing a ton of research on this type of fireplace, we chose to purchase this one. The box came in pristine shape, no damage. Once we unboxed it there was dents on the actual product. We contacted the seller and they offered a small credit back, however it would not allow us to return the item should we have any other issue. At this point we had not put it completely together or plugged it in. So, before accepting the credit, we put it together after taking some time to work the dents out, not perfect but enough that anyone else wouldn't notice. Once put together and plugged in....WOW! The colors and flames are are so pretty. Some of the colors reminded me of a "fish tank", but others were so real looking and beautiful. HOWEVER... HEATER DOES NOT WORK. It went straight to overheat mode?? We contacted the company, again. They had us call a dealer that worked on this model, but since we didn't purchase from them, they would charge us for the labor, not the parts. Labor was $179 an hour...lol. uh...NO!! Because this was not going to be easy the seller offered a full refund if we destroyed the unit. Returning through the mail as you could imagine would cost too much for them. So they had us cut the cord and write void on the serial plate. Once we sent proof of doing so, we were refunded. This was not a cheap purchase. We spent $1800. We measured our hole in the cultured stone wall my husband just built for this unit to go into. This was the last piece to this beautiful project. We were so disappointed to have gone through ALL the Shipping issues we had with FedEx getting this thing delivered. It was delayed. Then it was too heavy for one person to remove it from the truck...just a mess. Then to have all this time pass, a whole in our wall longer than anticipated, just to get this unit and not have it fully function was a HUGE disappointment. My recommendation, although this company made it easy enough and worked with us to get us our refund...I recommend buying this through a local dealer. Don't go through the internet and don't mess with shipping and the potential hassle of this not working and returns etc. Save yourself from what we just went through. We do now have a working unit. Our wall looks beautiful. Our new unit looks beautiful. This experience was anything but beautiful. The company... nice and as helpful as they could be. But in the end we had a broken unit and had to get a new one. Learn from us.

The media could not be loaded. Amazing unit, researched for months and dollar for dollar this unitbhas more features , colors and depth. So happy we got the deep unit with the wood medium. If you have at least 6 inches of mounting depth you should consider the deep unit .

Our home has several fireplaces both gas and electric. The Napoleon fireplace is by far our favorite. The flame is realistic. The fireplace is thin and mounts flush in the wall. It is of high quality materials. Shipping only took a couple of days. My only complaint is that I have to carry my wife and son to bed every night. The fireplace puts them to sleep as they stare at the fireplace at bedtime. I will be buying another one for my business. Great purchase.
