We love habit cameras!! My mother in law got us one for our 5 yr old before she was born, and it’s still working great!! We got another for our son a few months ago, and again great product. Only issue is the one we first got was defective and we had to return for a new one, but then it was good. Sometimes electronics go bad, but not big deal to get another. Customer service is great too. Only downside is you cannot change your children’s profiles, they had to do for me. Kind of stupid that you can’t just handle your own profiles on you own account. ... show more

I have bought just about every camera there is and this is well worth the money. The picture quality isnt perfect at night but its still my favorite by far. Easy to move and no lose connection, my husband and i can both download the app and see it. The alerts are better than any others. It fits and stand and clip, or it stands by itseLf with the flex stand. It is expensive but considering how many cameras have stopped working on me i dont care.     • When it works, it’s a great product, but cannot be depended on
Style: Monitor & Flex Stand
BLUF: Functionality is great but camera frequently disconnects, making the system totally useless and customer service response to issues is dreadfully slow. Pros: The camera system is fantastic when it works. The image is clear and the audio comes through nicely. There isn’t nearly as much of a delay as I thought there would be with the WiFi-based system either. The app is well-designed and easy to use. The notification system for sounds and movement also works well. Cons: The system only works about 70% of the time. The camera frequently struggles to connect when opening the app or is extremely delayed in connecting. This obviously causes concern that the notification system isn’t working correctly when not actively monitoring the app. There is also a common problem where the camera totally disconnects from the app and you can’t reconnect it. This has been an issue for months but Nanit has failed to offer an actual solution. We lost use of the camera for over a month because it would not connect. Also, the base and camera do not properly connect, making the camera fall off the base easily. This system is extremely expensive. Based on the issues I’ve had and the price, I would not recommend this product. If Nanit’s customer service was more responsive it would probably change my opinion. However, I submitted multiple customer service requests over the disconnection issues and it took weeks for a response. The response I received was generic and instructed me to try techniques I had already tried (and explained that I had tried in my service request). Again, the camera system works great, when it works. The main issue is I feel uncomfortable depending on the system when it comes to the safety of my child. ... show more

I love this camera. It gave me so much peace of mind when my daughter was younger with the belly bands. The night vision on this camera is great and the camera quality is perfect. It was very easy to set up as well. I love that I can watch from anywhere with my app.

Nanit products are tricky and finicky. They are not easy or quick to configure, which is particularly bothersome if you travel a lot and take it with you, which we do. Every time there is a network change, there's trouble. It will sometimes throw a fit and decide to not work, or be very blurry for a few days. And of course, there's the fact that not only you pay a lot for the camera, but they also bombard you with messages to get you to pay for additional services and subscriptions. The built-in white noise options are not very pleasant, and when you try to speak through it the voice comes in creepy and really scares our daughter, so that's two features we don't use. Despite all this, we love our camera and don't imagine living without it (until we tried a similar one that probably works better, but... why bother) We even gave one as a present to friends who just gave birth, so I guess we nevertheless think very highly of this product. ... show more
