Truly cloud like. I bought this for my teenage daughter and was really surprised at how thick and fluffy this was. I bought a diff brand a few years ago that promised the same for my own bed, but it was not very thick. Just make sure to run it in the dryer first before putting it on the bed. It fluffs it up a lot and it holds its shape pretty well also.

I honestly wasn't expecting it to be this fluffy. The first 2 pictures are of the pad just out of the vacuum packed packaging. The next 2 pictures of the pad after letting it fluff up over night, and going through a low heat cycle. There was only a couple places that were not as fluffy from being folded, rolled, and vacuum packed. This mattress pad is much better than the expensive one I bought for my bed.

I bought 2 different types of these for 2 different queen beds. This brand and Abakan brand both from Amazon. This has an oversized skirt not anchor bands. I have a pillowtop mattress, plus one 4" gel topper and the skirt would fit twice that. The individual squares are not as plush/dense as the other brand. They dont hold up as well. After a few night sleep you can clearly see rhe indentions. Because the skirt it so large it tends to slide a little. So I align and fluff it regularly. I don't have this issue with the other brand. The bed its on only gets used 7-8 hrs a night. The other bed and topper is used more like 16 hrs a day. This brand would not hold up to that much daily use. It would go flat. I've only used 2 mths. Other than washing it which I've not done. I dont think anything will improve on this item. It was comfortable at first and its ok if you fluff daily. The material itself is soft and the little dots look nice.
