I have searched for years to find a pleasant tasting, healthy, non-clumpy protein powder to use. I have tried at least a dozen different kinds, already mixed, powders, plant-based, dairy based, etc. This one is my absolute favorite. It is simple and clean without fake sugars or 50 different chemicals that you don’t know what is in it. It tastes great, blends well without too much froth and is not gritty. I bought the vanilla and it is fine on its own mixed with water, a bit bland, but I’m not looking for a sweet milkshake. When mixed with a frozen banana or strawberries, it is absolutely delicious! I bought one small container and now I am subscribing to a large container every month. So happy to have finally found something worth spending my money on and making me feel like I’m actually investing in something ‘healthy’ to improve my health.

Clean protein, no other ingredients just plain whey. The fact that it's unflavored is good because you can add your own favor if you want. It tastes like powdered milk but less sweet. One thing to note is that it does foam up quite a bit. With water it's a lot more. You can combat this is if you use a yogurt or peanut butter to reduce foaming. Overall it's good, no bloating, no upset stomach or reactions. I was taking a different protein powder that was flavored. Once I started to research more about proteins supplements i started to notice that the powder I was taking had one too many ingredients and artificial sweeteners which I didn't like. So I decided to try naked whey protein, and so far I'm happy with it.

I've tried many different double chocolate protein powders, and here's my comprehensive review: **Pure Nutrition:** The main thing I was looking for was a replacement for the discontinued ON Gold label protein, specifically one with natural ingredients and a natural sweetener (no sucralose, high fructose corn syrup, or aspartame). Naked Whey excels in this category. The ingredients are naturally sourced, grass-fed whey, GMO-free, and it uses coconut sugar as a sweetener. **Cost vs. Protein Content:** At the time of this review (2/8/2025), the cost per serving was $1.09. This compares well to its competitors: Optimum Nutrition ($1.25), Nutricost ($1.20), and Levels ($1.07). **Taste and Texture:** The chocolate is good quality. I like the sweetness level for its flavor, but found it could be a bit stronger. I don't like my shakes overly sweet, but the Naked Whey could have been a little more flavorful. The thing that kept me from buying this earlier were critical reviews about the taste. Now that I’ve tried this, I can see the reason why some would not like its taste. I can taste the raw cacao and because there’s no artificial sweeteners or other flavors added, it tastes slightly bitter when mixed with water. It dissolves relatively slower than some other powders like ON and Dymatize, but shake a few more times and it gets the job done. For ideal results, I recommend making a healthy protein shake - Add some chia seeds, peanut or almond butter, some honey or maple syrup, a spoonful of Greek yogurt, a scoop of this powder and use a blender to make the shake. This product is clean and simple.

Ok I have not tasted this yet but I am already disappointed as this product is described as only having three ingredients…. Whey protein, coconut sugar and natural vanilla however the ingredients on the bottle are whey protein, coconut sugar and natural FLAVORS . Anyone who’s done their research knows that “natural flavors” are anything but natural. So much for being naked and clean of bs ingredients! Follow up- I reached out to manufacturer and this is response: The natural flavors used in our Vanilla Naked Whey come exclusively from natural vanilla beans.

Great quality and easily mixed with a frothing mixer tool. Spoon won’t work to blend it. I found the strawberry flavor to be very light and I mix in a tablespoon of Nesquik strawberry Scoop is buried in the powder so it took some digging with a spoon to find it. It is big so 2 recommended scoops for one serving looks like a lot in a glass of milk but once dissolved it’s fine. I would recommend this since I had such a hard time finding a flavor that wasn’t too sweet or foamy once mixed. This is great and not overwhelming

I was looking for a more organic protein powder after buying all my life from GNC. This one stood out to me because it only had 3/4 ingredients that I was able to recognize. Personally I like the taste it’s not that sweet but that’s okay with me. It tastes exactly like cow milk, if you’re familiar with the pajaretes that is how this protein powder tastes like which is good because that’s how you know it’s natural!!! Lastly it doesn’t bloat my stomach at all but still makes me feel full so that’s another plus. Expensive but worth the price so it’s worth fitting into my budget.
