    • How have used the new dehumidifier for a month.
Size: 305 Pints without Pump
The dehumidifier arrived in good shape and fired up without incident. It is used under the house where is crawlspace is mostly dirt with one section of poured concrete. The area is about 1200 sq. ft. It does a great job of lowering the humidity from 80% to the low 40's %. It might go lower but I don't need it lower. The real question now is how long will this machine last? The last similar machine lasted two years, nine months before it stopped defrosting. Drainage is by gravity, noise is not an issue, and the price was about the same as the similar spec'd competition. ... show more

I recently bought the 305 Pint Commercial Dehumidifier for our warehouse, and I have to say, it's been a total game-changer. We had a serious humidity issue that was causing all sorts of problems, from moldy smells to actual water damage. This dehumidifier has turned things around completely. This thing is a beast. It's big, but it needs to be to handle the space we’re using it in. Our warehouse is around 5,000 square feet, and the humidity used to be through the roof, especially during the rainy season. Since we started using this dehumidifier, the air feels so much drier and fresher. No more damp, musty smell hitting you in the face when you walk in. Setting it up was pretty straightforward. The instructions were clear, and it didn’t take long to get it running. I appreciate that it comes with a drain hose, so we don’t have to worry about emptying a tank all the time. This does not get 305 liters per day. In Florida our warehouse is not climate controlled and this only does about 3 gal on a good day at 70%-80% humidity. No pump for the drain hose so that needs to be drained from an higher elevation to actually drain. So if you plan on draining into a sink you will have to set it counter high. Our old dri-eaz works much better and has a better filter system *Update the company contacted me and said " I want to explain to you that the dehumidifier can remove 305 pints under 95% RH, 90℃ condition." Where in the world is it 90℃ (194F)? False advertising claims and the support is terrible. ... show more
