The desk is easy to assemble. For less than $100 this is an amazing deal. The desk is very sturdy and has plenty of desk space for your monitor and lap top. I love the adjustable up/down feature. The motor is not very fast but it’s very smooth . It’s doesn’t have any side storage racks. But there is a small drawer on the extension feature which is not attached / can be removed . Of all my Amazon purchases over the years, I have never been so positively impressed with a product as I am with this standing desk. I just received it yesterday and assembled and used it today. So, the only thing I cannot brag about is the long-term durability and functionality of the desk (for obvious reasons). Other than that: * I have NEVER seen a product of this size so well packaged and delivered - a small engineering marvel * The instructions were full size, not requiring a magnifying glass * The instructions were clear and minimized the use of words with superb drawings * Every tool except a Philips screw driver was included * Every single part included one spare item to make sure there were enough in case one was damaged or missing * The quality of the materials is first rate * The ease of use and initial functionality was super simple * Although I lack significant mechanical aptitude, assembly took about an hour by myself * The aesthetics and functionality of the various features are well thought out My ONLY 'ding' against this product is the use of fairly small screws in what amounts to MDF board. It works fine the first time or two, but is not the kind of thing that I would expect to hold up well for years of repeated relocation or disassembly. For me, however, I plan to set it in place, raise it to a given height, and walk on a treadmill while I work. It is difficult to say enough positive about this product, although I would not advise sitting on it as the guy in the image shows. This should be considered appropriate for moderate weight loads and limited dynamic interaction (e.g., relocating). ... show more

It took about an hour to assemble. Directions could have been better. Some attachments were not explained as to there purpose. The drawer is kind of cheesy but functional. The electrical powered height adjustment works well.

I only have one small issue with this desk, and that is, that a screwdriver is required but not supplied. Other than that it’s all good stuff. The packaging was perfect, instead of regular styrofoam that clings to everything they use a softer more dense foam. Every single piece was wrapped in plastic, clearly labeled with stickers. Instructions were clear and easy to understand. It doesn’t have an odor and it didn’t have any damage whatsoever. It went together easily and works and looks great. The desk comes in a box that is smaller than its depth as one reviewer noted. That is because the top is two separate pieces. So don’t be alarmed. Came with a couple of tools. You just need a standard Philips head screwdriver. It took me about 30 minutes to set up by myself. I added some rubber bumper “feet” to the bottom of the monitor shelf because it’s not attached to the desk. The feet in the desk legs are adjustable in case it’s rocky or you have uneven floors. Just twist the rubber feet to adjust. Quiet motor with 4 programmable options. At its highest level it went to about my armpits. I’m 5’4” so plenty high even for taller folks. Overall I’m very happy and really hope that tiny motor lasts a bit. ... show more
