They’re sturdy but gentle, and each side has a clearly marked grit, which makes it super easy to go from smoothing to shining in just a few steps. What I really love is that they don’t wear down quickly — even after several uses, they still hold their shape and grit. I use them to prep my nails before applying polish or just to keep them looking healthy and clean without anything on them. The shine these give is legit salon-level — smooth, glossy nails that look like I spent way more effort than I actually did. Definitely a great value, especially for the price. Didn't smell weird upon arrival like some items do of this nature and really good quality. I use one sanding block for every two press on nails changes I do on myself. I could probably use the same block 3 times easily. I just choose not to. They break apart easily and work great to get excess glue off and buff the nail before a new application. I also use them to soften the edge of any press ons that I trim. I will definitely order these again when I get low.

Very handy nail buffers. Good value for the money. I'm a man with weak nails that constantly split. I use Sally Hansen Hard as Nails as a protective clear coat. I then use these buffs to remove the high gloss shine. They work well for this purpose.
