I have a chronic issue with my wrist and this tool helps me reduce the stress on the wrist for cutting. The tool does a great job on cutting branches up to one inch. Going thicker in diameter may present a problem where several cuts around the perimeter will be needed.

I have hundreds of branches on my elms that grow downward. I have to trim them up to 10-12ft every year, sometimes twice. this tool keeps working long after my back/ hands would have given out. I could do a little every day and it only took a week to 10 days. I have had several spine surgeries and am disabled so I can’t operate normal loppers. This just requires pulling the little trigger and it does the work. It’s difficult finding tools I can use. The Craftsman V20 tools are usually light weight enough for me to use, even if only for a short while. I feel productive again. ... show more
