For an electric model, I was genuinely impressed by the overall good quality of this 13-inch tiller. The motor feels powerful enough to tackle compacted soil, breaking up clumps with reasonable efficiency. The tines themselves seem durable and handled rocks and roots better than I expected for a unit of this size. It doesn't bog down easily, which is a common concern with electric tillers, and its ability to churn through garden beds and even some small sections of lawn for new planting areas was quite satisfying. For the performance it delivers, the price was good, offering solid value for a tool that makes quick work of smaller-to-medium-sized garden tasks. Ergonomics & Handling: Mostly User-Friendly The controls are intuitive and easy to use, and the handles provide a decent grip. I used to have a regular size tiller for doing yard and garden work. Then I quit the gardening and my yard is done. I had no real need for a tiller anymore so I sold it. Last fall I noticed I was getting a lot of moss in my yard. Moss moves in when grass gets thin. Often times the only way to get rid of moss is to dig it up. But that is not realistic if you have a good amount of moss. Ideally you'll dig the moss up, put down some lime to 'sweeten' the soil and then plant grass seed. No way was I going to dig all the moss up by hand. I didn't need a bigger tiller and I didn't want to spend a lot of money on something I'm not going to use very often. Decided to give this one a try. It does what I needed it to do. I just leave the wheels in the down position because I don't need to dig way down. I can easily control it to 'skim' off the top layer of moss down to the bare ground. Then I lay down some lime and work it in with the tiller again and after a good watering or rain put in new seed. The tiller is ligh weight and easy to use. The RPM speed of the tiller is fine for light work. There's not a whole lot of bounce unless you hit a rock or something very hard. But that's no different than a full size gas powered tiller. And it's small enough so it doesn't take up a lot of floor space in your garage or shed. Rolling out a bunch of extension cord can be a pain, but I have a backup batter power station that I take out with me and it will run the tiller, so I'm only dealing with one cord from the power station to the tiller. This is a great little tiller for someone with small jobs around the house.

Bought this a couple months ago and have used it in my garden. Works great and its powerful! It is lighter than my older gas tiller and does seem to jump around on those hard clumps but it does get the job done.
