    • Grommet pulled out when putting it up
Size: 16' X 20'.
Covered the boat with this today. Before I had even completed the process, one of the grommets had ripped out. I looked at other grommet points where I had attached lines and some were already tearing at the top and bottom of the grommet. I didn't use excessive pressure, it just moved around a bit as I was attaching it. I don't imagine this tarp will last all winter, which is a huge disappointment given the price. If I have to buy 2-3 of these to last a winter, I might as well just go with shrink-wrap. UPDATE: In fairness I felt I had to come back and mention that it did last all winter, however the grommets did not. The quality of the material itself is good, but the material around the grommets needs to be better reinforced. ... show more

Got this to replace the one I had that was 25 plus years old given to me by my grandfather that use to be used on camping trips It was well used before I put it up last year and this years started tearing so time for a new one. Old one was 10 x 17 so I gained some cover and reworked And built A truss(rafters) to get a good fall on the cover I still have to extend the eves out to keep cover off them sharp edges. The cover in the picture was just installed when the pic was taken and had not being realigned and the lines relocated for a better and straighter angle pulled I had just stopped to get a pic and look at it when I snapped the pic and seen it needing some realigning I like this cover Very much hope it last A good while at least two years setup out full time 24/7 365 we shall see Update 5-14-2020 15 months still just like it was when put up doing great so far other than losing a little color ... show more

    • Worst quality canvass tarp

I bought this tarp to cover my boat. Within a week I found 5 holes. I thought mice had chewed but when I went to adjust it after a wind storm it literally shredded into pieces. Will never buy this ever again.

    • Decent, but unhappy with extra seam
I wasn't too surprised to find a seam along the middle of the tarp, but one of the half sections also has a seam in the middle, making this tarp less attractive and more prone to leading along that extra seam line. While it should do okay for covering our canopy, I still feel like I've received a defective product, not worth the full price. ... show more

My water front-patio has been exposed to the sun and rain for 10 years. Though looking fabulous, I cannot really stay outside because it is too hot during the day and too cold at night. I installed the tarp top before. It was ugly and flimsy, falling apart in the wind after 2 years. This Canvas fabric is the same one as the sunshade umbrella, very strong. Furthermore, I really love the accessories that came with the shipment - zip ties. It made the installation a breath. I would highly recommend buying this product to make the install super simple: TERMATH 12 Pcs Stainless Steel Ceiling Hook Ring Hooks 1.8 inch Pad Eye Plate, Marine Hardware Staple Hook Loop with Screws Here is how I installed it in about 1 hour: 1. I tied ropes on the 4 corners of the canvas. 2. Move the Canvas on the top of the frame. You will need a stick to poke to canvas to move the Canvas from below. 3. Pull and tie down the Canvas from 4 corners so that you can have a stable Canvas to work with. Otherwise, it will move around, especially on a windy day. 4. Now you can easily visualize where the hooks need to go. 5. The locations of the hooks must be slightly wider than the Canvas size so that you can stretch it out flat. 6. Install the first 2 rows of the hooks (parallel) and then, tie the canvas to the hooks using zip ties. 7. Then, install hooks of the other 2 sides and tied the Canvas down. FYI, I installed the hooks slightly higher on the wall side so that water can flow outwards. If you have the right tools -drills and a high ladder, the job can be done in 1-2 hours. Flat, well-stretched, strong, good looking cover. Right after installing the canvas, I could immediately the difference. The patio is much warmer in the early morning and night because the heat is trapped in the patio, not free-flowing to the sky. Also, it is much cooler during the day because it completely shields the patio with the thick fabric. I love this product, especially in combining with the marine quality hooks. ... show more

I purchased this for my boat 20 x 10 boat canopy to keep my boat out of the Sun when they say water resistant that means it resists water water still comes through it is not waterproof it leaks at the seem dead center of the canvas and when it rains hard there's little perforated holes kind of like a t-shirt or a pair of jeans water comes through also recommend putting a waterproof tarp underneath to keep things completely dry and there is some fraying but I think we'll be fine all in all I think the product was made pretty decent look at photo attached you'll see what I mean about perforated holes ... show more

this tarp has a seam down the long axis joining two 6x24' sections. The tarp works well to keep rain off my tractor except along that seam, which leaks. Percentage wise that is a very small section of the tarp but my tractor is still getting wet.

For the price, this is an awesome tarp. Used it for an old vehicle sitting outside. Water beaded up great and ran off. No leaks underneath after a week long rain session. We had another session of pouring rain. Still n9 leaks. The tarp is fading now due to the rain and now 95 degree weather. To play it safe I am going to by some canvas repellant.
