It’s so heavy it’s difficult for one person to lift. I should have ordered four 10x10s instead of two 10x20s for the sides of my pergola. However, with one on top and around the sides it did an excellent job of sheltering my pond in the winter without cutting out light. With two aluminum lined tarps over the pond at night inside the “tent” my pond and its inhabitants enjoyed 80 degrees all winter, even when it snowed.

I couldn't be any happier with this purchase. I just put them up, they look great, and are seriously heavy duty. I'm hoping they will keep the pollen from the southern pines out of my screened porch and keep it warm in the winter. I plan to take them down during the summer months. I put them up by myself which was a chore. I recommend having a helper with the 8'x20' size just because of the sheer size, weight and awkardness of maneuevering into place. Out of the box it was folded very tightly and really difficult to get apart as it was stuck to itself from the static cling. Again, a helper would have made this chore a little easier. The material seems really thick and durable. Not sure how you would rip it unless it snagged on something sharp. If you're looking for a DIY alternative to Isinglass then I would recommend this product. I hung it up using some small vinyl-coated, screw-in hooks. I priced getting a professional, custom made set but when I got an estimate, it was over $4,800. I'm all in for less than $500 with this product. One 8'×20' and two 8'x12's covered my entire porch perfectly. Obviously not quite as nice as a custom made set but good enough for me given the huge savings. I just wish I would have done this before the Super Bowl!

I have just hung the tarps so cannot really speak to their durability or sturdiness. The appear to be substantial and think they will pass the test on both these qualities. However, I have a complaint about that I think is important enough to write about. The grommets were not evenly spaced at all. They measured from 20.5 inches to 24.5 inches and never a two the same distance from each other. No rhyme no reason. I know there are disclaimers, but really, placing grommets should be standardized and not so random. One other problem, but your disclaimer said it would be so. I purchased three 8' X 12' tarps. Two came at 12' and one came at 11' 8''. So, not crazy about the craftsmanship of the tarps, but the clear tarp materials appears excellent.

Yes THE BEST!!! I originally ( over a year ago or so) purchased 2 to partly enclose our front porch for the winter and have just purchased a third so I can completely close it off in preparation for the( El Niño) winter we are expecting. They are made so well and sturdy and delivery is always on time. This is the one you want. It’s worth every penny.

I am so pleased that these are thick enough to really block wind and weather. We have used them to enclose our patio to be able to use it in winter. I worked great we put some space heaters and it kept the room perfect and protected.

We ordered 1 12x8 was in perfect condition! We also ordered , 2 6x8 one was seamed together and the other cloudy and unable to clean off the cloudiness look. We also ordered 2 10x8s one of the 10x8 has a seam with a blue line across the middle. Took us hours to put them up around our gazebo so too frustrated to take them back down to return them. We are so disappointed as the first one we put up was perfect, crystal clear no weird seams on them. Would not spend this kind of money again with such inconsistency in product quality. Buyer beware!
