I ordered these sun shades for a small business that their windows get afternoon sun and gets very hot in the Arizona sun. I custom ordered for size and length as well as a material that allows some light in but blocks most. The order said would take 10 to 14 days but they came a week early only 7 days. They fit perfect, Great quality, and easy installation. Everything was spot on from color to adjustability and they seem like will be very durable for day to day use. If you measure carefully, you'll receive a product that looks professional. I purchased one of the largest sizes of these shades after our window replacement/update changed the sizing of the windows slightly. I watched several videos of how to measure, and what I did was give them the actual opening of the window and then the measurement of the shade (about a 1/2 inch smaller because I had molding that would block that space). The shade did get stuck in customs for an extra 7 or so days, but I wasn't in a hurry, so that was fine. I chose the inside install look, so measuring needed to be precise, to the 1/8 of an inch, and that is what this seller did. It fit like a glove, and the chain look for up and down pull actually is subdued. The shade ordered was very wide and therefore a bit heavy, but the pull is easy. The blackout feature is exceptional, and I've gotten compliments on this shade because guests can sleep in the room that is south-facing with no early morning wake. Excellent quality!

Overall I liked these blinds very much and they did decrease some of the light but definitely not all of the light. To call them blackout is a little far fetched. The door mounted ones sit about a quarter of an inch or more from the door, thus letting in light all of the way around. The window one that mounts above the window does a slightly better job as it is recessed a bit. Super easy to install. Blend in beautifully with the window frame, door and curtains. I got the white ones.
