This product is easy to install and works perfectly in my home. I ordered the grey, black out blind (custom size). It came quickly and I was able to installed myself, in less than an hour. After installation, I realized I chose the wrong color for my home and was not 100 percent sure I liked the way it looked. The company sent me a new beige shade (same customization), for free, within a week. This new one is perfect and looks fantastic. They also did not request that I return the first one. When I decided that I was tired of looking through the slats of faux wood blinds, I did quite a bit of research for other alternatives and decided on shades. I checked local sources and was shocked at the prices, and even the big box store ones were expensive or just too cheap-looking for the affordable ones. I researched Amazon and did a quality, reviews, and pricing comparison on the companies that had what I wanted. I settled on MYshade and I wasn’t disappointed. The quality is like the local specialty stores and the prices were less than half their prices. I ordered one shade and installed it. I ordered all the rest after that, and even though there were some glitches, I am not disappointed, because the Customer Service was so responsive through prompt texts and emails. I learned 5 very important things: 1. Order the sample booklets. The colors and textures are great to see in person. 2. Be precise. Measure and measure again. They are precise and you need to be, too. 3. Install the mounting clips with a little wiggle room. The clips need to be straight to snap into the shade and aligned with each other to all clip in. You can also slide the valence in or out a little after mounting this way and it will still be secure. 4. Customer Service sent a video to show how to tighten the tension of the roll-up. It fixed one of the shades but it will also help to know this if the tension loosens over time. 5. Side-mount Hack: I needed a side mount because I wanted to cover the lower half of an arched window. I placed a board in the side mounts of my old blinds and mounted the shades’ clips on the board. The valence hides the board, and everything is secure. Yes, this is a Chinese company, but they have gone to extra lengths to produce a quality product and support their customers. Those business practices deserve recognition.

The media could not be loaded. I was so hesitant to order shades for my new windows! I have two large windows in my living room and wanted one operation where I used to have multiple per window. One is 102” and the other is 70” wide. The pull chain works great, even for the large window! The fabric is beautiful with the texture. I would prefer not to have black out but wanted this fabric. They do a good job of keeping the light out except along the edges. I am very satisfied and so I glad I went with these! I triple checked my measurements, followed the instructions and left notes as instructed. I added a few inches to the length to have a little extra fabric but probably could have gone with only 1” extra or less. There was one dent in the valance on one of the shades from shipping but I can’t even tell where it is now that they’re up.

Overall I liked these blinds very much and they did decrease some of the light but definitely not all of the light. To call them blackout is a little far fetched. The door mounted ones sit about a quarter of an inch or more from the door, thus letting in light all of the way around. The window one that mounts above the window does a slightly better job as it is recessed a bit. Super easy to install. Blend in beautifully with the window frame, door and curtains. I got the white ones.

Great product. Looks good. Keeps the light out. Was received with bottom weight/retainer bar not on exactly right. The retaining rod had poked through the shade material leaving the left portion (after the spot the retaining rod poked through shade material) loose. I pulled the cap off the end and pulled out the retaining rod and put it back in using a credit card to push the shade material down at the hole/tear spot and put cap back on end. Fixed. Looks great. Quality control needs to check better but… worked out. Was perfectly cut to the dimensions i put in the order. Looks nice.

I was excited by Amazon on time delivery. started working on the wall to mount the "L" mounting pieces... It is very tricky to get three mounts tongues into the shade's top bar. After a few minutes of trying two (out three) of the "L" mounts broke from the knee!!! These are cheap aluminum pieces which can not be bend more than a couple of times and they are supposed to hold a heavy shade! I am very disappointed and do NOT recommend this product.
