I needed small, portable storage boxes for choral octavo music. These are perfect. I think kif you dropped one it might crack, because they feel like they might be brittle, but I am not going to drop one to find out.

    • Cracked Bins, Broken and Missing Handles.

If you decide to order these, then just hope for the best. My first order had two cracked bins and broken handles. The four other bins in that order were fine and looked great, but obviously I had to ask an Amazon Customer Service Rep for help on the issue and I was fortunate enough to get a replacement set for free without having to return anything. The second order - the replacement set - ended up being 95% great except for two missing handles on the last storage bin! Of course I couldn't complain, since these were free, but Quality Control comes to question if I, and what seems to be others in the reviews, are having issues with their orders. These storage bins do seem like a great size to put clothing and other items in though. I would say they seem solid and sturdy - if you factor out the fact that they were being tossed around during Delivery so they might have been destroyed through that process! I do have IRIS USA's 12 QT storage bins that I got from Costco and really liked how solid those were so that's why I decided to get their 32 QT storage bins from Amazon. Both sizes have a similar solid and sturdy feel to them. I really think they need a better delivery box with extra padding. Maybe remove the black handles during delivery and have them separately within another box - so that the handles don't get broken during shipping. I also contacted the manufacturer regarding the missing handles so hopefully they will come through with that. ... show more

These are basically what you'd expect, but they're a bit sturdier than I assumed they would be. My favorite feature, however, is that the lids are curved up a bit, which means that all of the fabric scraps I'm stuffing in, which naturally heap in the middle, have a bit more room to behave as fabric naturally does. The bins are designed to be stackable even so, with feet that nestle into grooves in the lids. I'm really happy with these. ... show more

These are good containers. The only problem is 2 of the 9 containers came with a missing handle. I don't want to have to return all of them as I needed these ASAP. But now I'm down two that don't work. :( This fit like a glove in the space I needed. Wish I could get a replacement for just the two. The size of these were perfect for my chest freezer. I get to freeze a lot more with little wasted space in the freezer and keep things nice and organized. Friends say I have the most organized freezers they've ever seen. I don't just toss things in to be tossed out a year later. I have most everything in bins so I know exactly where everything is and these exactly what I needed for the extra room I had in the chest freezer.
