Description

POWERFUL HONEY BEE PHEROMONE Bee Bait Swarm Lures are a highly effective method for attracting feral colonies and an inexpensive way to increase the population of your apiary. HOW IT WORKS The all natural components of Bee Bait mimic the nasonov pheromone, which is released by scout bees to orient the colony to new hive locations. Just a few drops of Bee Bait is potent enough to attract swarms to your bait hive and will last for up to three weeks. Benefits to Using Bee Bait Swarm Lure Guaranteed to increase your chances of catching a swarm by over 75%. Unlike other swarm lures, Bee Bait includes additional natural ingredients that mimic the scents of a beehive. Scent remains active in the bait hive for up to 3 weeks (depending on climate). Just one bottle is enough to bait up to 100 hives! WHY DOES BEE BAIT AND OTHER SWARM LURES SMELL LIKE LEMONGRASS OIL? The nasonov pheromone consists of a number of different scents, including geraniol, nerolic acid, citral and geranic acid. Lemongrass consists of up to 85% citral, which is what gives it its distinctive aroma. Bee Bait is superior to other swam lures because we don't believe 85% is good enough. In fact, we are not satisfied with only using one component of the nasonov pheromone. AND NEITHER SHOULD YOU.

  • Bee swam lure
This is great for attracting bees

  • It does attract bees.
I use this product around swarm time. People call me when they have a ball of bees hanging in a tree. I used to go out and cut the branch of the tree and make the bees drop to the tarp on the ground, and they'd be pretty mad. But now, with this product, I just put a swarm box on the tarp, spritzer this stuff on the foundations and sit back and wait. The bees will come down and go right into the box and are alot less mad. ... show more

  • Bees the Next Day
We have had bees make a home each summer in our barn for the past few years. This year, I bought a hive and wanted to attract the bees to the hive instead of the barn. It is still fairly chilly, so I was thinking it would be a while before we saw the bees. Needless to say, I put four drops on the hive and was thinking I would come back in a week. To my surprise the bees arrived in a swarm the day after I put the drops out. Maybe it was a coincidence, but it definitely seemed to work. ... show more

  • Save your money.
I give 2 starts because came fast but bees around my yard don't care about this and I have 3 beehives around the yard in the trees. I did a test to see if they were going to get excited so I put sugar water and next to the sugar water I drop several drop of this stuff; well, save your money, bees didn't even notice this stuff not even one of them. Is the stain in front of the bottle. Not a bee. ... show more

  • Apply to a cotton ball. Just a small amount.
This product is used in catching bee swarms. The trap should have a small amount on the entrance and on the inside. You should check and reapply once a month.
