The Extra-Wide Windsor Arch Petgate incorporates an extra-wide barrier with a touch of style for those extra-wide openings in your home. The decorative matte bronze finish will complement any home décor, while its heavy-duty metal construction is built to last! Hardware mount this gate on straight or angled walls – the pivot points on the panels allow you to position the gate with ease. The one-hand operation and stay-open feature is sure to assist any pet and their owner. For additional security, this gate offers one swinging 25.5 inch walk-through panel built with a childproof double-locking system. To keep the gate open, simply use the hold-open feature for multiple pass-through. When the gate is not in use, simply swing it out of the way or remove entirely. Ideal for a variety of room openings, the gate measures 38.3 to 72 inches wide and is 30 inches high. The Extra-Wide Windsor Arch Petgate has an additional 15 inch extension (sold separately) that will expand the gate up to 162 inches wide. We have purchased 3 large baby gates recently for 3 different areas of our new home. I would rate this gate in the middle of the three. It is a dark brown but it only looks brown when the sun is directly on it. The installation was fairly easy. I feel that it is secure though and we have a climber. The gate doesn’t latch on closing as easy as another gate and it only swings one way. It is one hand open, but it has to be the specific one hand. You need your hand on the swinging part and your thumb to unlock from the other side of the latch. It’s just annoying but not a huge problem until you have something in the wrong hand. I do like the way the bends in the gate can lock into place. On the other gates we have had to put U brackets into the floor to make them stable. This gate is stable because you can keep the bends tightened up or loosen them to have the bends go the other way without having to uninstall. The ability to remove the gate while keeping the brackets in place is a huge plus. We use the gate more for convenience so we can keep doors open during the winter. Overall this is a great gate. I would definitely buy it again if my house mysteriously grew during the night. ... show more

Material seems like light plastic. We use it to keep the dogs out so it works well. Definitely don’t let your dogs/kids lean or hold on to the gate because it will possibly break.

Really like that it fits ‘odd’ locations! Because you can angle the two side panels, this gate can accommodate a variety of awkward opening & traffic paths. For example, my kitchen doorway/ framed opening is 71” & I could not find a pressure or mounted gate to fit the full width! However, by attaching this gate to only ONE SIDE of the DOORFRAME & ANGLING ONE SIDE to mount on the side of a KITCHEN CABINET, I was able to contain my two dogs to the kitchen safely, while leaving easy access to our garage entry door, too. ... show more

I would have kept this gate except that the top attachment piece was stationary and I could not figure how to firmly attach it to a lower 30-inch high counter topped with granite. Otherwise, it seemed sturdy enough to contain my rambunctious dogs. I ended up returning it and found a Tokkidas product that has worked nicely. ... show more

We needed to block off the kitchen from the dog so the cats can have a space for themselves while also keeping him out of the litter box and their food. The installation was extremely easy, took the hubby just a couple of minutes from start to finish (granted he's far from a novice at the installation of things and compared to the other gate we installed, a different type of gate). The gate looks great. Our dog is a 65-pound 9-month-old lab mix. He has run full force into the gate, and while the bottom of the gate did move slightly it held fast and didn't give in to his weight and force. He also loves to stand on his hind legs and drape his front legs over the fan. He hasn't tried to jump this gate, but our other gate is the same height as the flat part and he can get over that one since he can use the wall to give his back legs a boost (he hasn't figured out how to jump up and over something, if he knew that, he could clear it no problem), so this may not work with tall dogs that are determined or simply smarter than my dog. All 3 of our cats, including our 14-year-old girl who's getting pretty frail can clear it no problem. My only complaint and this could be a safety issue if you are using this with children or a dog that figures out how to lift and pull the gate, is that the gate button gets stuck down. So while the gate is closed and locked, I can just lift up on the gate and open it. It will eventually pop back up. I even let it slam close to see if that would jar it back into place, but it doesn't. Overall I recommend it if you aren't using it for cats, tall or extremely jump dogs, or kids. I love this gate so much. Its sturdy and easy to install. Fit perfectly how I wanted it. Our dogs wont be able to get outside when we open the front door and our cats so far havent figured out how to jump over it. We have 2 cats, 2 pomeranians, and 1 standard poodle and this gate has no issues standing up against all of them 🤣 Perfect perfect perfect!!!! Update: April 11th 2022 I still absolutely love this gate! Everyone who comes over to visit always comments on how much they love it after they use the door If you need to move the gate but want to be able to put it back after you dont have to unscrew it from the wall or anything It has buttons you can push to lift it up off the wall anchors with ease I got a new couch and needed to move my gate for a minute Only took me a few seconds to move it out of the way and then when I was done put it back The door has a point where it will hold open if you want it left open otherwise it swings back shut which I love because it prevents me from unintentionally leaving the gate open I highly recommend this gate It was very much worth the purchase and if I ever needed another I would buy it again ... show more
