Wow. The product designer of this bed deserves to win a design award. I bought the king size and assembled in my small bedroom. Before I list the qualities of the bed, a small shipping detail said a lot about the company selling it. Like most packaged items, it was protected by fitted styrofoam. I have never seen this, but each styrofoam piece was wrapped in plastic. That means static-y little pieces of styrofoam did not break off and cling to everything, the bed, the room, my hands. The bed is easy to assemble. It is joined by solid metal bolts in solid receptacles, and there are dowels to seat everything, even the bed slats. There are extra parts. The bed is solid wood, not a veneer over flimsy particleboard. It looks like a much more expensive bed. The smallest details were thought through. The slats attach with velcro and dowels. I slept on it last night and it was solid and not creaky. Now, when I assemble such furniture, I glue it as I go along, which makes the furniture very stable. If one does that, one wants to be very careful about following directions exactly, orienting every piece correctly. This was easy for this bed. I'd buy from this company any time.

This was purchased for a guest room. We wanted something that looked nice, was quiet but wasn't going to use up a ton of cash. We saw the reviews and are glad we went with this over the others. Noise insulating tape on the metal support and wooden pegs to double brace the corners are not required but that extra really give this a sense of quality. Well done!

This bed frame is very sturdy which I think is important in a bed frame. It was fairly easy to put together and I was able to do it by myself in about an hour. I like the allen bolts used as I find them easy to assemble and tighten. There was velcro for the slats so they do not move and the slat system was very supportive for the mattress. I did not use a box spring, just a 12" memory foam mattress that I also purchased from amazon. The bed is not too low to the ground. The color of the bed is a cool white/grey and has a cottage feel. It goes well with my beach home. It was everything I hoped it would be and I would definitely purchase again.
