I'm 71 with site only in my right eye. I was able to assemble the bed in 7 hours by myself. I did not rush, looked at the instructions thoroughly as there is no written instructions. Trickiest part is the metal drawer glides. Make sure to refer to the Y1 and Y2 drawings for their installation anrd screw placement. I assembled the bed on the carpet in the bedroom it is in. This was not hard to put together. It was time consuming but not hard. The finished product is beautiful and I am pleased with the quality and weight of it.

This is a great bed but a complete pain to build. If you need a bed but also need to save space then I’m quite certain you’ll like this.

    • This seller is not cooperating with my request to return this bed.
This bed was complicated to assemble & the draw slides broke when trying to install. The bearings fell out & we decided to disassemble & return. I cannot get this company to comply with my request for additional labels to return (I have one, but Fed Ex has told me I need one per box. I need 2-3 boxes to return). ... show more

Very cheaply made, certainly not worth the price. It looks nice but really worried about if it's going to hold up. I would send it back but it took almost 6 hours to put together....
