I have a twin XL adjustable bed and needed to install safety rails so that my disabled wife wouldn't fall out of bed. This product is perfect for that purpose It easily slips under the mattress and can be strapped down to keep it in place, even when the top mattress is elevated. It also serves as a steady handle for her to grab onto as she gets up. I would definitely recommend this product.

Seems sturdy and easy to install. It's easy to adjust to your desired handle height. At first it seems ok, but after a while it becomes loose and flimsy or wiggly to hold onto it. I have to re-tighten it over and over again. We have a reclining bed so it sometimes its in an angle. Maybe it requires 2 straps or a clamp to make it more stable and secure. I'm already thinking to permanently to screw it to the frame as it has screw holes on the bars.

The bar is easy to assemble and is very sturdy. I did have some difficulty securing it to the bed frame, so I have it just tucked under the mattress without being strapped in. I don't recommend doing that because it is unsafe, but I'm using it myself so I know to be careful. I had abdominal surgery and this helps me sit up without straining my healing incisions. The pockets are nice, a good place to keep my tv remote or anything else you want to keep within reach.

I've tried a number of these bed rails for my elderly father, and this is one of the better ones. It has a nice broad comfortable grasping area, it sticks up far enough from his mattress top and it is about as stable as I can expect when I cannot actually screw the rail to the bed. It holds in place fairly firmly when the strap is used (though that took some fiddling because of the wires associated with his adjustable bed) and the small pocket is handy for his TV remote. It does shift a little side to side but is stable when weight is placed on it from above.

This provides us peace of mind when we get my grandmother settled into bed. It slides under the mattress and is secure so she cannot fall out and also use it to get herself up more easily in the mornings. Very much worth the peace of mind.

I love this bed rail. My MIL lives with me and I take care of her and unfortunately as she is getting older she is having more issues getting up in the morning. This rail gives her just the right amount of support to be able to pull herself up on the days shes feeling a bit weaker. Assembly was really easy and took less than 5 minutes and I love that it screws to the bed for additional stability. The storage pocket is great for glasses or the remote. Overall this is a great rail for someone who needs a little extra help!
