As many of you, I read countless reviews and was unsure which cup would suit my 1 year old. We wanted something that was convenient for everyday. My son is able to drink in a regular cup, however we wanted to avoid open cups in the living room. This cup is a great option! Pros: easy to use, it took my son a few tries until he was able to use independently. Size, this is a smaller cup (9oz) and is great considering he was drinking out of 5 oz cups, when filled it’s not too heavy for him to lift to drink or too wide to hold with little hands. It does appear to be leak proof. The instructions on wash & care are very easy to understand. Cons: it can be tough to open if your hands are wet as it is a twist top & round shaped cup. (Dry hands and firm grip, good to go!) The color changing feature is fun! Not to be used as a hot/cold indicator, the instructions indicate this feature may fail over time. We have had minor drops, haven’t noticed spills at this time. Lastly, as many reviewers have mentioned, take the plastic off of the cup before getting started. Great cup, easy to use, would buy again. Update: I have noticed when dropped from significant height, cup does spill water & if held upside down with your finger on the inside lip the cup will release water. With that said, still a huge fan of this cup given how easy it is for my son to use. ... show more

My toddler took a liking to it quick! I really love the look of it, easy to identify and my toddler knows which is her cup. Quality is great, easy to clean, makes it a breeze. I had to get another one but in store, it still does the job, will recommend 10000%

I love that this cup is leak proof. It was nice to have two different top options to be versatile and easy functionality. Easy to clean. Easy to use. Nice durability with no issues. Great value product.

    • No bottles or sippy cups, only this one ever.

We opted to use these instead of having bottles or original style sippy cups. These are amazing. It teaches the child how to hold a cup for drinks and since they always want to tip back this helps all of it from dumping onto them. They don't need handles on a cup and there's no tip like a sippy cup that they could chew on and destroy. They never go to bed with this cup it's only for drinks and not a bedtime soothing pacifier. The lid has two pieces and needs to be taken apart for cleaning otherwise weird things will start to grow. Make sure the flexible piece is fully popped into place before screwing the lid on otherwise it'll fall off and then everything can spill out. The only time I've had it leak is if the lid isn't tight enough or the top piece isn't popped on correct. I only wash these by hand so the heat of the dishwasher doesn't make the silicone top piece become misshapen. Definite keeper! ... show more

    • Take The Plastic Wrap Off - I Love This Cup!

I am an adult. I wanted something to carry juice around... I love this cup. I did not want juice/potentially sticky liquids in my water bottles. I only put water in water bottles to keep them clean and mold/mildew free. However, I love juices (apple, grape, mango, etc.) but some times I don't finish my juice and want to save it for later or want to take it on the go. So, I needed something with a lid that would not spill and would be easy to clean so that there is no nasty/sticky build-up. This cup is perfect! I do not care that it is "for kids." It just looks like a cup, it doesn't matter, and I love it. So yes, I recommend this for both kids and adults! I take it to University and my desk job, no one has said a word. Just looks like a cup, because it's a cup. Nice. P.S. The plastic wrap that comes surrounding the cup is supposed to come off. It is just there for display to show what the effects could look like. Baby has a hard time getting any water when using the 360 top. I can help her with the sippy top, and she does fine with that, but part of the reason we purchased this is to give her the chance to drink on her own using the 360 top. You have to push really hard to just get a dribble of water out. It's basically pointless for her as she doesn't feel anything coming out when she tries on her own so she just sets it aside. It's nice that it comes with a sippy top and a straw top with straw (for when she's ready) though, otherwise, this purchase would have been useless. I do like the color change, I think that's cute and she'll appreciate that as she gets older. EDIT: She basically just needed more time to figure it out and now she's able to drink from it even by herself. ... show more

I don't normally write reviews but with all of the incorrect reviews I wanted to add mine. There is a film on the cup when it arrives to demonstrate the color changing ability of the cup! Just take it off! I believe it says this in the description of the item as well. Secondly the color change does work as pictured. My almost 3 year old loves this cup, it's his magic big boy cup. It's a great to transition from a sippy cup to an open glass as it is the same mouth placement. If your child has trouble understanding how to use it there are videos you can search for of other children using the cup and it helps. Lastly it will leak if thrown but most other cups do as well.
