My 10 month old transitioned very well with this sippy cup. Truly no spill when it falls and love that my daughter is easily able to get water out of it no matter what angle she holds it. The handles also make it easy to hold. Great product and size!

These cups are great in that they're easy to clean, my toddler loves them, and they have oz markings. I like that the handles are optional, as then they fit in bags better and makes it easy to distinguish one from another when we add things like medicine to a drink. Cons: the lid is a pain to get on straight, especially when handles aren't used. Then if you don't get it on straight it leaks. If you screw it on to tight the liquid comes up the straw and leaks then too. So you have to find the right balance, which is tedious. The flip top lid sometimes hits my kid in the face and he snaps it off, but it goes right back on so its whatever. Pros: they're very durable. My son has thrown them several times, we've dropped them, so far the only thing that has damaged them was my cat chewing on the straw base. They're easy to clean and put together/take apart. I rinse both the straw base and top parts before throwing them in the dishwasher, as I found it wasn't getting milk out. It does fine with juice or water but milk seemed to stick. Top rack dishwasher, in the bottle part basket and you're good to go. All in all we like these cups, they're more affordable than other weighted cups and so far have lasted a good while.

These have been great so far. I’m not positive what the weight is for - there is no specification. My 8 month old has sipping this with ease. Easy to wash and clean. Comes with mini pipe cleaner to clean straw.

I like the weighted straw and it is easy for my baby (9 months) to use. He has thrown them a couple times and they have done just fine. My biggest complaint is the button to open the lid gets gunky. No matter how soon I rinse it, the straw seems to leak directly into the button chamber and it is impossible to clean behind thoroughly. They say not to boil these but I am concerned that they might start to smell and grow mold soon if I don't figure out a way to scrub since milk gets all up in it!

The media could not be loaded. After using these cups for more than 4 years, I’ve realized they are not something I will continue to buy. Straw cups were recommended by our child’s speech pathologist to improve muscle strength in our child’s mouth & help with speech, so I used these for many years thinking they were great. Enter the Dr. Brown’s straw cup, & suddenly these are not quite so great to me. For one, the main issue we’ve had over the years is black mold forming behind the button, as milk would drip from the straw & build up in that area, & it is impossible to clean behind the button (it was honestly nasty). This has required us to toss out so many cups & replace. Great for Amazon, not so great for our wallet. This last round of cups was even worse, as you can see the top doesn’t shut well, & is almost impossible to open. I tried to return & Amazon was refusing to return, as I had opened the packaging (sort of a necessary step to find out something is defective). I had to call customer service, & even they were hesitant to help me because I had opened them. It definitely made me hesitant to continue using Amazon brand products, as it didn’t seem like they were all too willing to stand behind them. My suggestion, skip the mama bear cups & go straight to Dr. Brown’s cups. They are easy to clean thoroughly (no black mold ever), & easy to open (my child who is under two can figure it out & help himself to water when he needs it). An added plus, the Dr. Brown’s cups were actually cheaper when I got them!
