  • Stands the test of a toddler - but maybe not the test of travel
These are our go-to sippy cups for mealtimes with our 1 year old. She learned to use them very quickly and the weighted straw allows her to always get the liquid. However, when we've packed this sippy cup up with liquid when on-the-go, we find the liquid spills out of the straw the second the cap is released - leaving me to believe it gets pressurized easily. So heads up this may not be good on a plane. Also, the straw parts sometimes seem to align imperfectly causing more resistance/air to the stream of liquid. It is hard to tell sometimes when this has happened but usually the cue is my baby girl getting frustrated. I then have to try the straw myself to see if it is working properly. To fix it, I just undo the lid and wiggle the straw a bit - not sure what exactly happens. Pros: simple design, stands being thrown and dropped with minimal loss of liquid | easy to learn Cons: consists of a few parts that take up room in the dishwasher/make it harder to clean by hand | use on a plane is not suggested due to pressure causing liquid to come out of straw once cap is released | Straw can sometimes get a little wonky and needs some jiggling to make the liquid flow easier Conclusion: Even given the cons, I find this the best weighted straw sippy cup on the market. It does not leak out the sides if turned any which way. It does not leak or come apart when thrown across the room, and it has been easy for my 1 year old to learn to use herself. It has checked most of the boxes better than other options. ... show more

  • Button isn’t easy for toddlers to use
The button that opens the lid is almost impossible to open. Even for an adult. There’s not much room for it to move when you press it. I had to file it down a little on the inside compartment with a thin nail file in order to be able to press it open. Started giving this to my 1 year old to have extra cheap straw cups on hand since she loves the DrBrown weighted straw cups and can open and close those but she can’t do that with these. Liquid stays in the top half of the straw once you’re done and when you close it and it spreads thru the lid and into the button compartment. We use it mainly for milk so there’s so much milk build up in the button area that you physically can’t get to even if you take all the pieces out and soak which makes it even harder to open. Love the size of the cup. Wish it came in more colors or more neutral colors but for the price it’s pretty good. Handles are great and love how they are optional. ... show more

  • My son loves these but they do have flaws
I'm giving these 4 stars because these are my toddler's favourite sippy cups. My son took a very long time to figure out straws and the fact that the straw is soft, flexible, and flattened makes these great. However, the button to open them is really hard to push, my 6yo can't even open them and sometimes I have trouble. They are also very hard to clean due to the very small straw, but they do provide a cleaning brush. However, this makes it so that these really are completely spill proof, even if you leave the lid open. ... show more

  • Awesome product
The only reason I didn't give this a 5 star was because of the lid! I love the straw and the leak proof features for my 7 month old. It is also light enough that she can lift it, but the lid keeps getting in her way. Otherwise great product!

  • Better than other brands
We have tried munchkin straw cups and tommee tippee straw cups and these are the best by far. I don’t love the lid, but it’s minimal pieces to put together. We’ve had these for 8 months and we love them. The munchkin cups leak like crazy and the tommee tippee take forever to put together and pieces break easily. These also hold a lot of liquid and have oz labels. I need to buy another set! ... show more

  • Buy them!
If you are thinking about getting these…. Get them! I have an almost 1 year old that I am transitioning to only using a straw cup and these are amazing! They do not leak. I don’t like to waste any milk because I am still breast-feeding. These allow you to get every last drop. Super easy to clean assemble and disassemble. They have been great for milk water juices everything. ... show more

  • Great but has a small issue
One of our favorite cups, but there is one area that is hard to clean. The space behind the unlock button for the lid is hard to wash out. I had to drill two small holes in the top to be able to get enough flow to clear out whatever got stuck behind it.

  • Best Cup for Toddlers
Cups are a must have for any toddler. We use these at home and on the go. Second time we have bought these exact cups. The lid seals great and easy to use for our toddler.
