We love Zak cups. Having tried a few different brands, these cups from Zak are definitely our preferred cup. They are mostly spill proof, although my toddler has figured out how to "paint" with the contents by shaking it hard up and down and hitting the straw. But for most situations, it is fine. They are so easy to clean. I couldn't stand all the parts and small crevices that didn't clean well with other cups. I love the wide straws. They can be placed in the dishwasher and sterilized with no warping or other issues that we had with other "dishwasher safe" cups. My toddler loves Blues Clues so I'm glad they had this design! It's the pattern cup of choice in our house. The rubber straw on the top of the cup has its advantages and drawbacks. I love that it is soft and flexible so I'm not worried about injuries in case of a run and fall like I am with other cups that have hard plastic straws. But the rubber part can get holes and not work properly if you have a big chewer. We had to replace a straw after about 8 months or so because of this. Still worth it to me overall! ... show more

This is one of the view leak-proof cups, but it can only last so long. If your child uses it as much as ours does... the seal on the inside will fade and it may leak through where the lid and cup meet. The rubber rim also comes undone pretty fast as well.
