I ordered the purple, it is not the vibrant color seen in the pictures it is a pale pinkish purple. While I can squeeze my switch into the dock with the case on the switch does not make proper contact to charge while docked with the case on. So color not as advertised and function not as advertised. I am disappointed but don't feel like the hassle of sending it back. The grips feel ok and I made compromises there for the advertised ability to allow docking without removal but for me that has been false. Get something a little better if you were looking for a dockable case with grips. ... show more

I was skeptical about buying this for my Switch when I saw other people claiming it is hard to snap into the dock with it on. I watched Youtube videos about this before my purchase. I have no issue getting this in or out of the dock. Sure the Switch slides in a bit easier without it on but I still have no issue and neither does my 8 year old son. The only issue I get is I put the system in a bit off centered sometimes and it doesn't meet the charge port. But that can happen without a case. When taking thew system on and off the dock with this case it just feels a bit more snug. As far as the case itself well...... Pros: -Looks frikkin awesome -Feels great (better than holding just the switch) -Joycons slide in and out of the case without removal of the case -Solid build and high quality Cons: - It blocks the kickstand (which is a piece of crap anyway) All in all its great. You can buy a more reliable kickstand for it and just dock the system with this case on it. Amazon Basics has a good one. I also recommend the Mumba Pro carrying case for this. If you're like me and use the Switch exclusively in handheld/undocked mode, a Switch case that can be docked with is enough to sell me on it. This case does exactly that and more. It's a one piece case which is exactly what I wanted because hundreds of hours holding the Switch up by the Joycons has me concerned about the lifespan of the rails. This case holds it all together to take the strain off of the controllers and makes the whole unit feel more solid. The case's thicker, rounded, and textured grips also help to lessen the strain on your hands too. The case also looks stylish compared to other cases. The docking process is easy. The switch slides right in with the case, but stops just short of bottom. Not a problem, just give it an easy push down and the Switch will dock completely and start charging. The only negative is the case does block the kickstand, but if you play handheld most of the time you won't miss it. ... show more

This is NOT dock-able, or "dock friendly". I bought this thinking I wouldn't have to take it off when I docked it but that's not the case. I tried in several different docks and it didn't fit AT ALL. Also the pictures show a very vivid color but it's actually much lighter. I got the purple one and it looks almost pink. The grips are ok, but I wouldn't buy this just for that because there are too many better ones out there. I think I'm going to return this for my refund. ... show more

But I ordered a purple cover case but its seems more like a hot pink. The purple in the product amazon photo has a darker retro purple as you see in my photo and video it's like a hot pink. I would have ordered the black one, if I would have known I was gonna receive a hot pink case instead.. i'm a bit bummed because my favorite color is purple lol Other than that the cover case is amazing the traveling and carrying case is amazing. ... show more

I want to love this case, but I just can't. For one, it does not actually fit in the dock for the Switch! When I place it on the dock, it forces the dock to stretch (not great for plastic parts) and it feels far too tight to safely continue to force it in place to connect it. Additional con to this case, the back is one solid piece, so if you wanted to use the little kickstand on the Switch, you are out of luck. I do like that the top where the controllers sit is not a solid piece, as it makes me feel less like I'm going to break the controllers when I remove the case (compared to other cases I've used) however that offers less protection should you drop your Switch. I'm going to return this case and continue my search for a solid case that can be docked without issues! ... show more

This handle is fantastic. Not only is it very simple to apply and remove, but it is so comfortable in my hands. My wrists and hands would hurt after holding my Switch for hours but now it feels no different from holding a controller. The color is more of a pinkish purple than in the pictures but that is not even remotely an issue for me. The only downside is that, while it does fit in the dock, the case's thickness does not allow the Switch to plug in and charge properly. However since it is so easy to remove I find no issue in just removing it from the case and inserting into the dock and reapplying later. If you or your child play the Switch handheld often I HIGHLY recommend this. It feels wonderful and offers some nice protection from liquids and scratches. ... show more
