I was concerned that this device would not work in a GFCI outlet, because there is no hole in the GFCI on my bath outlet, to accept the set screw in the middle of this device. And, who doesn't have a GFCI in the bath? It is, or will be code soon, in your town too. The seller's listing alluded this extender was appropriate for GFCI, yet there were comments that said otherwise. So, I decided to buck up and give it a try. Previously, I had two plastic outlet extenders, and a USB converter block, cluttering up and blocking the beauty of my wood paneling on my bath vanity. This product stood out to me because it has has 6 outlets, 3 USB's AND a night light. The device has a clean aesthetic. The white case matches my counter. It has a fairly bright, night light with many colors to choose from. And the LED can be turned off completely, if that is your liking. I selected the economical legacy USB only, model. Because that's what my skin care and 30 second toothbrush alternative use. But if you need USB C, no problem. They have those as well, for only a few dollars more. Despite my GFCI outlet, I made this work. And it was pretty easy too. I have a wood splash, and a wood outlet cover that I paid all of 5 dollars for, 25 years ago. This device covers the outlet entirely anyway. So, I smeared white silicone caulk over the wood face of the outlet cover, taking care not to get it in the plug holes or the test buttons. I put a tiny bit of white silicone in the screw hole to block light, since I don't need it. This device is a surge protector outlet, already protected by a GFCI. So, there is reasonable chance that I won't have to service this outlet for another 25 years. These GFCI outlets, in my experience, last a long time IF you seal them from moisture and humidity. In this case I used white silicone caulk/glue. I used white duct/gorilla tape to secure the outlet until the silicone dries. (Picture 1) I removed the duct tape later (Picture 2). As for the commenters who alluded this device unworkable for a GFCI outlet. I say balderdash! Sometimes you have to worry about guests messing with the complex settings of your devices and controls. But, because this has only one button, to enable the LED light, change the color (or rotate colors). You can put your mind at ease. Your bathroom visitors can do no harm, as they push it's one and only button and get happy to their heart's content. Just tell them your friend Jeff can get one for them too!

This is a great way to not to be in the dark this product serves as a nightlight not too bright but enough so you can get around safely.

The media could not be loaded. I purchased this multifunctional outlet because I needed extra outlets and a new night light. It has the perfect number of outlet spots and USB charging spots that I need. I was really excited about having all the different colors for the night light, I was super excited that I thought there was going to be a pink nightlight color. As you can see in the video there is not a pink color There is a purple and a red but no pink. I still love the fact that if you put it on the one setting it just constantly is changing different colors. Overall this product is exactly what I needed and and it's a great nightlight.
