I needed a slim toaster to replace my old one so I decided to try this one. Fits perfectly in the space of the previous toaster. Lots of room for two slices. My store bought bread fits completely into the slot (unlike an earlier post I saw). I like that this one has a crumb try, unlike my old toaster, However - be aware that the toaster comes set to 6 - highest level - and that first slice will come out very dark (some would say burnt). It also has the down lever on the right rather than left as my old one. We can probably adjust. It also does not brown on only one side as my old toaster (a nice option for bagels) but again we will adjust. Bottom line, good product. Just be sure to read the small manual that comes with it for additional info.

This toaster is beautiful and modern. I replaced an old, inexpensive toaster that was hardly working, so much of my love is for the way this one looks on my counter. I love the 1 long slot and I can put 2 slices of wide pan bread in and they barely overlap, which works because the slot is bagel-wide. Here are my two issues and at the moment I am just dealing with them. First, it doesn't toast the top inch and half of bread if the slice fills the slot. I'm using regular grocery store bread, even though it's the wide-pan variety, it's the normal height. So when the toast pops up, I turn it over and then watch for about a minute while the top gets toasted. I have the settings lower than I would so the extra toasting works. The 2nd issue is that the settings are confusing because they are just 4 symbols. I've pretty much worked them out by trial and error (No, I did not look at the instruction flyer before losing it). I have figure out that the top button pops the toast up and another raises and lowers the toasting time number. One button looks like it should be defrost, but I haven't used it yet. Would I buy this again? I hope it lasts as long as my previous toaster and I don't need to wonder about this question. I think I would because of the brand name which feels like quality to me, and the very sleek look in my kitchen. I feel like I got good value with this choice.

I was contacted by the seller to write a review so, here is my honest review: I was attracted to the modern slim profile and it is nice. It's different and to me that is a plus. It's easy to use too. Small drawbacks are: When it is done toasting bread the spring must be tight so the bread shoots up hard and falls to the counter or the floor...or it shoots up and sits flat on top of the toaster. It's loud and startling too. When I toast a bagel, it does not toast evenly. I have to rotate the bagel with a knife or something which is annoying as it's hot. My last toaster didn't have these problems but then again, it looked like the run of the mill toaster. In the end, I'm okay with the "issues" because I like the look of this toaster.
