This company overcame the challenges of one brace for both hands. Although covers half back of palm and inside palm, thumbs at the finger joint as most braces, and the wrist, it does not feel intrusive. Still feels reasonable dexterity to do many things . The material has mesh outer to allow breathing so not feeling cramped. Altho 3 points of adjustment, still not hard to put on. Of the 3 hand braces I bought together from Amazon, Mueller is well designed, good fit, functional, comfortable. For 3 point restraint this is a winner. Will add long term use later. ... show more

Extended drive -10 plus hours three days in a row aggravated the tendon in thumb at base of wrist. Very tender and painful tried another brace with ok results. Bought the Mueller brand as a second choice and already has become the better choice - more comfortable and better thumb support as a result of design and the internal hard supports in brace for thumb. Less pain and tenderness and family Dr suggested also taking Advil or Aleve to help reduce pain & aid in recovery. Results so far very good less tenderness and pain. More comfortable than the other brand and once again happy with the quality design and effectiveness of Mueller products. Great Brand and Reasonably priced. Very Effective at a price that won’t cost an arm or leg for custom made devices. Best of all now unlikely that I will need cortisone injection or other intervention to treat the problem!! ... show more

This is one of the best gloves at immobilizing my trigger thumb at night. The only issue is it’s a little large even with adjustable straps. I can still maneuver, my hand and the Velcro works very well also which is a huuuge plus. Somewhat difficult to grab certain things like a cup. It’s a bit more difficult to have on while trying to use your hand but it does a great job at Immobilizing. It seems very durable and it’s easy to clean. I prefer a smaller gloves that take up less wrist space But I would definitely keep and buy another one of these gloves to wear at night as a backup it works very well. ... show more

I ordered two different thumb braces. They were both about the same price (Mueller's was $2 more). The Dr. Frederick's Original is way more comfortable. They both seem to be good quality but the DFO is cheaper and fits better. Only the DFO is copper infused and I don't know if that makes a difference. I would buy DFO's again for sure. ... show more

Purchased prior to seeing ER Doc (x-rays) and 2 Orthopedic Doc. All said this brace was ideal / perfect as it was almost identical to what they offered. Brace immobilizes CMC joint thus relieving and reducing inflammation. Purchased a second one for in house relaxing, bedtime use only.
