I snagged this mixer for $13 on prime day because while I love my kitchenaid stand mixer, sometimes I need to do a quick mix of something and I don't have the time to haul it out and wash all the components--I also see people all the time use their mixer to shred meat in the crockpot so I am looking forward to doing that with this. I love that this comes with a storage container for the parts so I wont have to be hunting around for them. I haven't tried to make anything with it at this time (ill update my review later if I remember to) but I did test the different settings as I noticed some people said the low setting is more like medium. It does seem a little fast to me but if I were to be making something that needed slow mixing I'd probably either do it by hand or use my stand mixer anyways. CUMBERSOME FOR LEFTIES DUE TO CORD PLACEMENT. The mixer is excellent except it's extremely difficult for me to use as a leftie. The cord runs out of the right side of the device, so when you're holding it with your left hand it gets in the way and is extremely cumbersome. I do recommend this mixer if you are right handed because other than the cord placement, it is a great product. ... show more

There's no Slow speed on this hand mixer. As soon as you turn it on, it's on what I would call medium high speed. Then, it just goes faster and faster. Cake mixes call to start slow to gradually blend the ingredients together. Other than that I guess it's a good mixer.

I consider myself an amateur baker and if you want a small light easy hand held mixer, I would say go with this one. Preface to say, I only have this product for less than a month but it certainly is a bit too powerful. In terms of wanting to do the likes of whipping cream, you would make a total mess on the lowest setting for that reason I'm not the biggest fan. It is decent nonetheless.

UPDATE 04/21/23 I just had to come back and write an update because their customer service earned it. The day of or the day after I wrote my review the company reached out to me immediately refunding my purchase and sent me a new one. Within a week of writing my review they resolved my complaint and I’m loving my mixer again. I am taking the extra precaution to wash the beaters right after I am done to prevent rusting. But I’m so grateful for their customer service & their promptness to fix the problem. Just a wonderful company. Thank you! Old review: The beaters rusted…. Not sure if I just got some lousy beaters or if the beaters just aren’t very good quality, but all I did was soak my beaters for a couple days & when my husband was doing dishes he broke the news & I’ve been immensely disappointed ever since. The motor on this thing is crazy. There is no slow lol I only put it on level one because it is so powerful. Works amazingly as far as that is concerned but the beaters rusting broke my heart. I even tried looking for replacement beaters by the same company & they don’t exist. I would think they would offer something like that but I guess not. So it is sitting under my counter and I just don’t know what to do with it. I don’t want to throw it away but if I can’t find replacement beaters that fit & work, I’m going to have to. I did not try the dough beaters but I’m worried the same thing will happen. So, if you do get this powerhouse, make sure you have a strong grip & strong arm, and you wash the beaters right away and don’t soak them. I hope the moisture in the foods you whip up doesn’t eventually lead to rust. I just don’t know. But you will whip up egg whites and whipping cream faster than ever before. I laughed when I read the box "Easy to hold." On the lowest setting, this mixer seems to be trying to launch into orbit! I chose this brand because I was looking for something quality made without lead, etc. It's just extremely powerful. Make sure your dry ingredients are moistened before turning it on or you'll wind up with them all over the kitchen. ... show more
