  • Powerful!
Color: 6000W60V30A 42MPH
Okay this is a great bike thus far for the price, just be aware that assembly instructions don't exist, and they're constantly making the bike better and better, so your bike might be slightly different than others you see in pictures and videos. The bike does come mostly assembled, and if you can't figure out how to assemble it from the mostly assembled bike that is delivered, you probably have no business riding a bike like this, because it is powerful... it's also very heavy. I was surprised how heavy it actually is, but it surprisingly is actually all aluminum, including the front half of the frame and the rear suspension portion of the frame (last ebike I ordered here on Amazon said it was aluminum, but I later noticed a magnet stuck to the frame, so it definitely wasn't aluminum like advertised, but this one is.). So the power on this bike is nice, I live in the San Francisco Bay Area, and we have some of the largest hills of any city in the nation, and this bike handles them quite well when set to two wheel power at the highest 5 level setting (there's 0 to 5 on power levels, and a choice to run just the rear wheel motor or both wheel motors). 45 degree angle hills this will get up them without help, but I do always use the peddle and help it a little just so I don't tax the motor and battery too hard, however if I am already going at a good speed when I approach such steep hills, no peddle is usually necessary. The bike is fast, and that is all I will say about that, as I keep mine at the legal level. One thing I really do not like, and I haven't figured out how to disable it yet, is I don't like how when I peddle the bikes motors automatically kicks on if you are in any power level setting other than zero, and this has caused me some minor accidents, and I want it removed, even if I need to take out the crank and whatever mechanism switch they have there that activates it... I only like the grip throttle, and that should be the only way power should kick on, unless there's a program switch that can activate and deactivate it, which would be the best thing... Just like how it has a button on the control keypad which let's me choose one or two wheel power, it should have the same thing to activate or deactivate that peddle power, because people are getting hurt... I am very careful and aware of it now, and I will place my bike into the zero setting of 0 to 5 before I get on the bike, because a little pressure to the peddle and the bike is flying off with a lot of torque. This of course is a minor grip that should be easy to fix/permanently remove if necessary. Again, this is a powerful bike (good looking too), so be careful, and make certain that you tighten everything down after your first ride, and do so again after you second and third ride, just a smart thing to do when breaking in any new bike. This is my first ebike that is really powerful (I got the 6000w model), my last ebike that said it was aluminum but wasn't, couldn't even make it up the tiny 15 degree sloped hill my house is on, I have tried this on the tallest hills in my town here in the SF Bay, and I can't stress how great it is to be able to get around town so freely. Oh, and I haven't completely ran out the battery yet, and I can tell you that without peddling at all, in a very hilly town, it easily has done 10 miles, and I probably could have done another 10 easily in the same terrain without peddling, or at least another 5 miles for sure. However I do plan on buying a spare battery just so I can go on much longer trips, and I probably will eventually self modify the bike to have a external battery back on the rear rack which is very sturdy, for this I will likely construct the battery myself by using a bunch of cells and wiring them to the voltage needed at having them just plug into the charging port if, but I don't know, I have to see how they engineered and wired everything before doing so. Anyway, you will enjoy this bike most likely if looking for something with a little more power. Happy New Year to all, and definitely be safe while riding, and remember, the larger heavier vehicles always have the right of way, regardless of what the law says, because a pedestrian or a bike is no match for a angry car or truck that you might be impeding on something like this... although I can keep up with all traffic on this one. Edit: I should have edited this several weeks ago and I apologize... the bike is truly great for the money, the issue of the peddle activing the motors is no longer a problem, it never was, you can enter a program state by pressing the "i" button for a few seconds, and turn it off so only the hand throttle activates the motors. There's other programs which I don't know what they do, but I will contact the manufacturer and get a copy of everything and translate it into English the best I can, as what they told me was slightly off for what to do to turn off the peddle crank activation and turn on just having the hand throttle, but luckily they printed it in their language and I was easily able to translate it properly. So I will ask the manufacturer to send me everything about the programming in the native native language, and I will translate it all and write it out here to the best of my ability. It is truly worth the money for this Ebike, it's powerful & fast, the only thing left is checking out a replacement battery that they sell, which I will buy and test, and let you all know if everything remains great (I am uncertain if advertised voltage is correct, but that's not so important as power and speed advertising is correct, and it for the most part is, and they really don't rate power, but it does go up the steepest hills in my very hilly area of San Francisco Bay, although you probably should want to get a little bit of speed before doing so, and to keep your battery safe give it a little help with the peddles, which in my experience isn't essential, but I can feel some steep hills where it just would be healthy for any ebike of any power to help it a bit... or you can switchback any hills or mountain without worrying about anything. I near fully recommend the bike, and after I get a new battery that is equal or better to it, I fully recommend it (I can rebuild and build my own battery packs if mine ever goes wrong, but I understand not everyone can or knows how, so I am just testing the replacement battery for you benefit... but I also want to be able to travel farther, even though I have yet to be able to drain the battery more than half, but I want to see if I can make it from Hayward California (near San Lorenzo) to Berkeley California at the university... I don't expect a return trip on two batteries, but it would be very impressive if I make the journey one way, and probably impossible to make it back the other direction, but I have BART for this test. BTW, the bikes do get better and better, and I bet they already upgraded the bike since I got mine, which is something I noticed when putting mine together and looking at small details. So if you purchased a weak ebike in the past like I did, definitely give this one a chance... and I will try and get the programming details and list them hear as I don't know what any of the options do except the one for pedal and throttle, and more importantly I will let you know about the replacement battery. Have fun and be safe... I can't stress the safety part enough! ... show more

  • Great purchase at first, DO NOT BUY
Color: 6000W60V30A 42MPH
The bike handled very well the first weeks of riding but since then the mounting bolt on the left mirror broke during normal operation. Both brakes have to be adjusted every couple of days or they self tighten the point that the bike is unrideable. Extra money has been spent. Not to mention, the battery NEVER went above 60% charge. Tech support was useful until they stopped understanding English. DO NOT BUY ... show more
