MTM family of Ammunition Cans has grown to include a MINI size. This Mini size is ideal for storing bulk ammo, boxed handgun ammo and 101 other uses. These comfortably handled ammo cans are molded out of rugged polypropylene plastic and will hold up to years of service. The Mini ammo can is not so mini, when you consider, it will hold 700 rounds of 9mm bulk ammo. 400 rounds 45 ACP or 223 bulk ammo. Utilizing MTM's tongue and groove O-Ring seal system for a superior water-resistant seal, Non-submersible. Double padlock tabs along with molded-in stacking ridges, make these solid containers the perfect solution to so many storage needs. 12-pound carry capacity. Made in the USA.

First off, I did not use it for ammo. I used it as a battery box for my telescope. Perfect size for L-ion battery with room to mount voltmeter, 5521 power jacks and assorted regulating electronics. Solid box with good handle. Seals good but I don't expect to have my telescope out in the rain so I can't speak to waterproofing. All in all a good value. ... show more

I use this for shooting matches.It holds my CCI Mini mag one hundred round boxes perfectly. I am able to hold exactly 10 which gives me one thousand rounds to bring to the range or shooting match. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I ordered this case because based on the dimensions specified by the seller on the Amazon page, it should have been big enough to hold a battery that I had also ordered. The seller provides the dimensions in two places on the page: near the top in the summary description, and further down the page in the "Technical Details" section. In both places, the dimensions they give seem to be a mix of internal dimensions (the height) and external dimensions (the length). The length dimension in particular is problematic because the locking mechanism at one end increases the external dimension. And the true internal dimension depends on whether you measure it at the bottom or at the top - the sides slope. The only other problem I noticed is that the clamp isn't quite as snug and secure as I would have preferred. The force needed to open the clamp was so slight that it did not give me confidence that it wouldn't pop open if, for example, it were to fall on its side with heavy contents inside the box. Otherwise, it seems a nicely made plastic box at an unusually good price. ... show more
