Original description said this product was leather, after I purchased a few weeks later noticed that the description changed to now say faux leather, however the large description still has the leather comment and the leather tanning type they use, obviously someone didn’t proof this hard enough. I will say, the bag itself is pretty. It's very roomy and the color is the perfect chocolate color I was looking for. Now for the bad....the smell....oh my goodness the smell. I tried to air it out for 2 days, and I thought it was gone so I threw away all the packaging. Today I went to use it amd when I opened her up the smell almost made me vomit!!! But since I don't have the packaging any longer, I have to keep it. Which stinks because for the price you would think there wouldn't be a very strong fishy odor. I sprinkled baking soda all inside as advises on Google, so I'm hoping that works. I saw a review that said she's buttery soft...she's not. It's not awful, but it's not high quality buttery soft leather either. Honestly, I'd say for the price, maybe spend the money elsewhere. That's how awful the smell is over a week outside the packaging!!! ... show more

This is sad, I just received this bag and it is beautiful , but when I opened the package you can smell the fishy odor all on and in the bag, the smell does not go away and now Im going to have to return it...bummer!

I usually have designer bags, and was looking for a cute one as a day to day work bag.
