My previous purchase was the z490 ACE. I decided to try the Unify. After this purchase, I feel I should have bought Unify instead of ACE as the main difference between the two for a normal consumer is absence of LEDs. Even if you are an overclocker, the quality of this PCB and overclocking features are on par with ACE and its 200$ cheaper. Do not miss LEDs on MB at all tbh. Worked straight out of the box. It has the debug LEDS along with the code display which are crucial when building the PC. Has 3 ssd slots, 2.5gb ethernet, WiFi 6, Bluetooth (very very useful). I have connected my BOSE sound link to this for sound, xbox controller and a bluetooth headphones and it handles it all with ease ... wirelessly. Wifi is great if you place the PC where cable cannot reach it - highly recommend. The IO plate comes installed which is fantastic. The box comes with all accessories needed. very straight forward installation. It also has the PCIE 4 compatibility for next gen rocket lake. You can skip buying a z590 motherboard if you get this one. MSI has also been great with new features. they are already out with resize bar support for 30 series cards already. I also have dragon center and really, it hasn't given me any issues. MSI makes really good quality motherboards and has decent customer support as well. I highly recommend this to anybody thinking of building an INTEL Gaming PC and is an overclocker. Don't get into the AMD hype just yet. Software Compatibility is a boon and should be #1 for any sane PC builder!

Hadn’t built my own PC from board up in a while… decided to take the NVME/SSD, i7-11700 CPU & 3060ti GPU from my Dell XPS 8700 and build around those capable components to save a few bucks. Now, I’m not a Gamer, but I have a lot of applications and 4 screens of Charts running all the time. My PC is a tool to make $ - so it’s important it’s capable & reliable. Got a Corsair high-flow case, new Corsair RAM, good Noctua fans (including their CPU Fan cooler), Corsair PSU, a Gen4 NVME, you know… all the proper stuff. Now, I originally went with an ASUS ROG Strix board and after everything was built and looked perfect, it wouldn’t boot at all - super frustrating! Troubleshooting led me to realize my board was DOA. And then, so was the replacement - WTF! Made me think it was me and/or my build! So anyway, I decided to try something else - I did a bunch more research and arrived at this MSI MEG Board in the same price range. Came overnight via Prime. All I can say is good thing about it - does everything I want and more - easy BIOS update, super easy to overclock the COMPATIBLE Corsair RAM, Individual fan flows, save settings, all that. Video card fits and works fine. Boots perfect every time - runs like a champ for going on 3mos now. Hope to get at least a few years out of it until my next build. “It’s a keeper”

I chose this to pair with an i9-10900K CPU and I've been very pleased with the results. This motherboard is stable and offers a number of great features which are appropriate for its price. I chose this for its healthy power delivery capability and its very likely ability to support PCIe 4.0 with an 11th generation Intel desktop CPU. I love the 3 on-board m.2 connectors and the POST code readout on the motherboard. Out of the box, this board did NOT have any settings that would have pressed the CPU into non-standard performance and power use, such as a slightly higher bus speed, manually set higher CPU voltage, or any kind of "performance" mode enabled. Those can of course be set in various ways but it's nice to see clean slate settings out of the box. While my individual experience doesn't represent a significant sample, this is one of the few PCs I've built that had zero, 0, problems after being assembled and run. I did update the board's BIOS version shortly after bringing the system online. This good experience of course involves many factors in addition to the motherboard, but it adds to my positive impression of this board. With no CPU overclocking, XMP enabled for 3600 memory, a Noctua NH-D15 air cooler, and basic and correct case air flow, the PC idles around 26* C and peaks around 70* C during gaming. These are great numbers. My only slight dislike of this board, and it seems to be generally unavoidable with boards of this price, is the inclusion of on-board wifi. I do not use wifi when I can avoid it. I prefer a wired connection for many reasons and I do not intend to use the wifi on this board. I have disabled the wifi controller in the OS. This is, however, a s mall factor and I won't take off any stars for this because I think I my use case is the rarity here.

If all other companies started offering the convenience this board brought. excellent product and remember to choose the power supply correctly as this board has 2 x8 connectors for power.It includes the book and a USB on the front corner of the box below that is like an installation CD. Great support in the box wish more were like this!
